Irene Hofmann, 1966 in Eisenhüttenstadt geboren und dort

aufgewachsen,ab 1985 Studium an der Kunst-hochschule Berlin-Weißensee,

ab 1987 an der Dresdner Kunsthochschule,

1991 Malerei-Grafik-Diplom und anschließendes Meisterstudium bei

Professor Gerhard Kettner,Geburt des Sohnes,

Arbeit als Webdesigner bis 2003,seit 2004 wieder Maler,

lebt in Berlin
