HOME GROUPS – Mondays at 6:30pm, and Tuesdays at 3:30pm – The Tuesday afternoon group is studying the overlooked, insightful and delightful letter to the Hebrews. Copies of William Barclay’s commentary on Hebrews will be available for $8 for interested parties. Visit our website at trinitylososos.org/get-involved/home-groups for more information. MINISTRIES INTEREST SURVEY – This is the time of year when the Nominations Committee begins to look for people to fill vacancies in all the other committees. Please take a moment to pick up a Ministries Interest Survey in the Social Hall and let us know where you might like to help. Return completed surveys to the church office or place in the offering plate. VETERAN’S DAY HOLIDAY – Monday, Nov 12 – The office will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day. SANCTUARY CLEANING DAY – Saturday, Nov 17 – Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again! Join the Trustees in the Sanctuary for a couple of hours of cleaning and polishing just in time for the holidays. A cleaning day for the Social Hall and Kitchen is scheduled for December 8. Talk to Elizabeth Clover about signing up to help. VCC SUNDAY – Sunday, Nov 18 – We will honor the teachers at VCC during the worship service. THANKSGIVING BASKET PROJECT – Tuesday, Nov 20, 10:00am – Social Hall/Kitchen – Trinity will distribute at least 50 Thanksgiving dinner baskets to local families this year. Golden State Water is donating the turkeys, we will provide the rest of the ‘fixings’. Please complete the orange flyer included in the bulletin if you are interested in helping this year. UMW BAZAAR & BAKE SALE – Sunday, Dec 2, after church – Social Hall – The UMW is seeking donations for their annual Bazaar and Bake Sale. See the green bulletin insert or contact Kathy Lindsay at 520-975-6269 for more information. UNITED METHODIST STUDENT DAY – Sunday, Nov 25 – On this Special Giving Sunday, your generous gift supports United Methodist Student Day scholarships, administered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. When you give today, you enrich ministry and help connect students to their faith. FAREWELL RECEPTION – Sunday, Nov 25, 11:15am – Social Hall – Please join us after church to wish MaryAnn Jakes a fond farewell. UPDATE – Liz Curren is planning on coming back to Los Osos for a visit in December. If all goes well she plans to join us at church on December 9.

Dear Trinity Family, I want to take a moment to let you know that I am resigning as the Office Administrator effective November 30. The decision was a difficult one, but after much thought and prayer, it’s the right move for me. I’ve enjoyed the past six years learning new things, getting to know you, and even the occasional chaotic moments. Thank you for all of your patience and care during my time here. I’ll treasure the friendships and memories that we’ve made together. MaryAnn
