Pakistan Girl Guides Association orga-nized a National Training on Action on Body Confidence at National Headquar-ters Islamabad from 4th to 07th Septem-ber, 2018. 32 Guide Trainers & Provin-cial/ Area Coordinators attended. The focus of the training was on building body confidence among youth. Strong body confidence is an important step towards building self-esteem, empower-ing the leaders of tomorrow. But in soci-eties all over the world, children and young people list the way they look among their top concerns. They feel un-der pressure to change their appearance to fit in with society’s narrow image of beauty, which is presented in the media and idealized by their peers.
