SYNOPSISEdith and Rodney have invited the audience toa dramatic reading of a selection of classic HP
Lovecraft horror stories in their home.
Edith and Rodney take turns recounting thestories, while providing interesting historicalinformation about Lovecraft in betweenreadings.
The four stories are:-The Statement of Randolph Carter Carterstates what he can remember of a late nighttomb exploration with his research partner,Warren.
-The Music of Erich Zann A college studentstumbles upon a strange neighborhood andmeets an old, strange musician.
-The White Ship A dream-like journey of alighthouse keeper to mystical, far away lands.
-The Picture in the House A researchertakes shelter from a storm in an old, abandonedhouse, only to discover it is not abandoned.

SYSTEM DESIGN CONCEPT
- We wanted to give the designers the ability to place soundsanywhere in the room. The small size of the stage and intimatesetting made localization an important aspect.
-Sounds interacting with the actors.
-We also wanted to try out creating a reverb system that couldeasily integrate with other future shows. Rather that adding reverbto a given clip itself, this system allows for a dry clip to havereverb added to it live. This reverb is played through 7 speakersspread around the room and aimed at the walls to excite thenatural reverberant field of the room.
