SUMMARY
Every year in Panem, which used to be known as North America, the Capitol holds the Hunger Games to remind the people of the rebels. In the Games there can only be one winner. If you do not win you die. This year is the seventy-forth Hunger Games. Two names will be called from the glass bowl out of the twelve districts. Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her sister. Peeta Mellark is next to be called from district twelve. During the Games, there is a rule changed from one winner to two winners both from the same district. Will Peeta and Katniss win? Read the Hunger Games book #1 to find out.

I rated The Hunger Games 5 out of 5 stars. I loved the book very much and would recommend it to anyone. Suzanne Collins worded it well and had a great ending. She also gave it suspense and I kept wanting to read it. I never wanted to put it down. This was a Fantastic book!
