Training Center Porto Cervo

The ifa team provides training and work ses-sions (TWS) in the ifa Academy training cen-ters in Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda, Sardina, Italy and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA (see right page). The users are only responsible for their travel arrangements; hotel, lunch and dinner as well as all training sessions together with education material are free of charge. In Sardinia/Italy the ifa Academy offers training and work sessions (TWS) two times a year (May and October).

Health Information Technology (HIT) is a com-plex topic. Even the simplest software won’t guarantee that users are getting its maximum benefi t if it is not coupled with qualifi ed educa-tion and training.

To that end, the ifa team has developed a comprehensive training program with over 50 modules (see back page) for the use of com-pliant chart documentation, offi ce and clinic organization, data mining, clinical decision support and quality management in eyecare.

The ifa team organizes over 10 TWS (Training and Work Sessions) at the ifa Academy head-quarter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Over 250 attendees visit the meetings in Florida every year and can go through the educa-tion and qualifi cation process based on ISO 9001:2008 quality management standards.

The ifa training center and headquarter US are just next to the Fort Lauderdale convention center (well known for the ARVO congress) and close to Port Everglades.

Hotel (5 stars), dinner and lunch together with all training sessions are free of charge; the attendees only have to care for their travel arrangements.
