My Name is Conner Allen and I am aphotographer living in Spokane Washington. I am 18 years old andhave been doing photography for 4

years, along with 4 years of art. I grew up inSpokane Washington with a large family in theHeart of Hillyard. I grew up influenced by art and

work when I was in elementary school and fell in love with her work. My Photography was greatlyinfluenced by music such as The White Stripes, Tegan and Sarah, and Death Cab for Cutie, I wanted to convey the same messages there songs had. I knew when I was in elementary schoolthat I wanted to be in some sort of medium inart. When I started middle school I took artfor every elective, and as I proceeded into highschool I used every elective for art andphotography. Along with taking art classes atCommunity college through the running startprogram. In my sophomore year of highschool I photographed my first wedding and

I wanted to learn, and grow as a photographer,

the rest of my life. Photography is one of the most important things in my life, I feel like I have thechance to show others just how I see the world, and I want people to see my version of reality.Even though I enjoy doing wedding andfamily’s pictures, I enjoy conceptual and fashionphotography much more! A lot of my ideasare from books and Artist from around theworld. In each shot I try to convey an emotion ortheme, and am always trying to make a point. Iam attempting to Finish my 365 on time as well!If you would like to work with me please contactme via email, so we may have the pleasure of Meeting Each other! With Sincere Regards

It all started about 3 years ago, after minor jobs and some training from my former agency I was

scouted and was then headed off to Milan Italy. At the time I didn?t want to model, I found no point in it and had no passion for it. When I came back to the U.S. I ?quit? modeling and denied I ever did it.

ModelALYSA CONGER

However my close friend had a show here in Spokane that he

Hansen fashion show, ? Industrial Decomposition? ,thinking I was only helping my friend grow in their passion. Turns out I get spotted there by local photographers and agreed to shoot

I didn?t hate it so much anymore now that it was my own.

From this point on, I plan to continue to make it my own, I am my own business, I hope to grow and get out of Spokane again, and of course I would love to be rollin? in the dough, it?s honestly been my main drive from the start. I?m just lucky I was taught professionally and know a thing or two about what

I?m doing in front of a camera. A couple model friends and I plan to take over, and there?s nothing standing in our way of doing so. Who knows where you?ll see me next!

My name is Ronnie Ryno and I am the very proud owner of Glamarita

Garland. It’s been a whirlwind journey and this is defiantly not where I expected to end up! I went to school to become an English Literature teacher and somehow fell into Special Education. I taught kids with behavioral disorders and learning disabilities for 13 years and loved it, but

creative outlet. I was feeling stressed and wanted something fun, light, and playful to occupy myself.

I had never sewn anything but a pair of hideous shorts in Middle School Home Ec and had no idea what I was doing, but having loved clothes and fashion my entire life, I was determined to learn. I started pulling apart my own clothes to see how they were constructed, altering,

clothes my own twist and letting my imagination go wild. At this point I wanted

DesignerRONNIE RYNO

to show the world what I had created and looked around Spokane for a place to do that.....SURPRISE! Not much of a fashion scene in Spokane at the time. I was disappointed and frustrated, so my husband and I decided to make our own scene. We started Runway Renegades in 2007 and it’s grown into a community of the most talented designers, models, photographers and stylists. RR was created to give artists a place to exhibit their talent and receive recognition for all the hard work that goes into working

time job that feeds your soul.

This spring, I took the leap and decided to fully commit to designing and give up my day job. Teaching has been wonderful, but it was time to follow a different path.

children, it is the thing that I am most proud of having created. Every day I walk in the door, look around and get a huge thrill....I made this and it’s AMAZING! I feel so proud of what I have achieved, but I defiantly had some help. Runway Renegades started out as a once a year show, but has turned into a family and I have been able to count on them for support, encouragement and advice. We collaborate on events, photo shoots and collections. We support other groups and try to attend as many local events as possible. We are committed to giving Spokane a strong, thriving, and relevant fashion scene.

Glamarita is located at 901 W. Garland right next door to

shoes, ceramics, housewares, soaps/candles and everything in between. Everything is local, everything is handmade and everything is one of a kind! The majority of our items are made from recycled or vintage materials, so you can also feel good about supporting sustainable fashion. Many of our local designers also do custom orders, so if you have a specific event in mind, come in and meet us!

I have been a hairdresser for 21 years and in that time I have had the pleasure of training with some of the top in the craft. I have always tried to to make it about the client,

model or who it is I am working on. Over the years it has become more about the character and less about the cut or the style. It has to work non attest the situation. Straight, curly, whatever. As a hairdresser you always have someone to answer to weather it is the client when in the salon or the photographer when on set. You have to be able to adapt to what the needs are and that is what makes it fun. I love the collaboration of it all. It’s never a dictatorship but two people (or a team) working together to achieve a look.

My name is Brianna Frost and I am a freelance makeup artist. I have always been intrigued by Art and it’s many faces since childhood. I had

never predicted my passion would lead me into the world of cosmetology. Falling into this line of work was definitely unexpected but has brought me a new artistic outlet that I have dedicated myself to mastering.

As a child everything around me was my inspiration. I was born with an artistic mind where each second of my free time was spent spilling out my thoughts through art. I can’t remember where it all started but my oldest

my Grandmother when I was 6 and the praise I got for it. After knowing my work brought other’s pleasure it fueled my fire to be the artist I am today! Some of my favorite projects were that of the most eye catching and abstract. Like any other

unique projects, which is what every artist wants, and from this I was introduced to more and more ways to express myself hence Cosmetology.

Being born into a family of creative minds, my artistic abilities came so natural to me that it was difficult to find a challenge. I would master things one after another, from painting to sculpting. I’d get it down so fast that I’d be bored with it while everyone around me would raving about how I should do it for a living, but it wasn’t scratching my itch for a challenge. After not doing art for a while and just focusing on college like a normal

my makeup. I thought nothing of it until a friend insisted I do her makeup for a shoot she had with Gary Peterson. I expressed myself in a way I hadn’t before and being a perfectionist, made sure it was something that hadn’t been seen. I was hired by Gary for two more shoots the next day! This was the ultimate fuel for my fire, and the every growing world of cosmetology wasa perfect place to challenge myself.

My name is Mary Tafuri, and I create TaFurious jewelry, accessories, andsupplies. I have been making jewelry since I was a girl, and am often

inspired by couture fashion, native american history and a love of gemstones, leather and metal.

dead stock materials in my work, as well as fair trade elements. I also like to use vintage jewelrypieces as a way of living and creating sustainably.

partner and leather worker, Blue Tafuri, our studio provides some commercial photography services to small business owners in the Spokane area.

In addition, my little family manufactures high quality leather beading supplies that sell world wide. Sparked from the design of one leather clasp, our

of leather pieces, lace, strap and bracelet blanks, all hand cut and dyed in our Spokane studio. Our fine leather clasps and bracelet blanks are the perfect addition to the supply box of any current, costume jewelry designer. Our pieces have been featured on the television show “Beads, Baubles and More”, as

our componants can be purchased wholesale. But hobby jewelry makers can see our retail supplies shop at www.ThinguMaBobs.etsy.com.

My supplies started when I was a marketing wench for a large bead distributor. I craved leather to work with in my finished jewelry, but even with access to a library of world wide vendors, I couldn’t find anything that met my quality standards. That’s when I met my husband and partner, Blue. As a life long leather worker, he taught me all I needed to know to create killer pieces. I fell in love with his creativity and his kind heart, so naturally I married him. The brand, “Tafurious” is a fun little play on our last name, Tafuri, pronounced “Ta Fury”.

Our supplies are often a main component and

labor of artistic love. Many designs feature our fine

bracelets, are featured favorites.

My work is 100% guaranteed for the life of the piece. I can easily size and customize your order with your choice of hardware & leather. See my one of a kind pieces at Glamarita on Garland, and watch my etsy store at www.tafurious.etsy.com for new pieces.
