What is OPAC? OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) System provides easier searching. It is the electronic version of the library catalog cards and this is accessible on computer units at the entrance of the Library. An OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is an online bibliography of a library collection that is available to the public. Through the OPAC you may search for titles held in the Library, check the books status and you may also find the call number of the book and in what section.

How to use the OPAC? 1. Click on this window for a full view of the OPAC.

2. On the search box, type in any keyword you would like to search then press enter. Drop down list will show all the library materials relative to your search keyword OPTION

3. You may check the books status by double clicking on each item. By double clicking the item, Book Data Display will appear where you can check books details

You can see here the book status whether this is in or already borrowed. Accession #; Location Call Mark: This directs you where the book is located. 623.8 Y53c 2003 (F) WL - location - section -Class # -Author # -Copyright date

Your library attendance is recorded per hour. Thus, you are required to log your midshipman # as you enter the library or the study room
