• William Shakespeare was born 23 April 1564 • He was born in: Stratford-upon-Avon, a small English
market town located 100 miles northwest of location. Stratford-upon-Avon, an small English market.
• Biographers made Shakespeare to be poor and uneducated, that wasn't really the case
• At age 4 or 5 he was enrolled in the kings new school• There are no records for the school so we don’t know
exactly when he entered and left
Major Work
• his plays have been made into movies• His contribution to the English language is
probably larger than that of anyone else• plays still rank as the greatest dramas ever
produced in the English language four centuries after they were written.

• He put a curse on anyone daring to move his body from that final resting place.
• Is father was a money lender and was accused of lending money at the rate of 20% and 25%.
