Lion Dick Tuttle led us in singing America and President Cindy led the Pledge. OUR GUESTS: Nancy Cox, guest of Lion Arlan. Lou Ann Wurstner, guest of Lion Joe Sharp. Lisa Dunn, guest of Lion Joe Sharp. Connie England, guest of Lion Bill Garrison. OUR CONCERNS: Lion Arlan Cox told members that former member, Warden Seymour passed away this afternoon. Lions Gary Warner, Dave White, and Tom Gustin also continue to need our prayers. Lion Bill Derringer is rehabbing from knee replacement surgery. Lion Bob Ryan said his shoulder surgery went well and he is also in rehab. Lion Roger Geise's foster daughter has cancer of the spine. Karen Hamburger, wife of Lion AJ is improving. Several of our members saw her out Christmas shopping. Lions Derek Routte and Gene Oliver also need our prayers. OUR MEAL: Homemade pizzas, cookies, and doughnuts for dessert. OUR COOKS: Lions Joe Sharp, Emmitt Hempstead, Richard Cox, Ryan Sutton, and Janie Demint. Also helping were Joe's sisters Lou Ann Wurstner and Lisa Dunn. NEXT WEEK'S MEAL: Chef Giuseppe Sharp said we will dine on Poland Park Pasta next week. SECRETARY'S REPORT: Lion Joy had nothing to report. TREASURER'S REPORT: Lion Becky Hines issued a check for $3099.00 to Taylor's IGA. This is to pay for the food vouchers for our adopted Christmas families.

Habitat for Humanity thanked us for our $2000 donation.

Hope Clinic thanked us for feeding their volunteers.

Mercy Home thanked us for allowing them to speak to us at our last meeting. DONATIONS NEEDED:

District OH7 is soliciting donations for 50 solar chargers that will be delivered to Puerto Rico. Half of Puerto Ricans are still without power. If you would like to donate to this cause you can send a check to CT Lilane Fox at 11400 Pickerington Rd., Pickerington, OH 43147. make the check out to Ohio Lions District OH7 and put Puerto Rico on the memo line.

Melissa Yerian, a friend of Claudia Weiderman, is having lots of medical problems and is in need of some groceries. President Cindy said that if you can help with some non perishable food have it here by this Friday.

SANTA CLAUS: Needs some elves to help load up all the food and presents for our adopted Christmas families. If you can help we are meeting at the club at 9:00 AM this Friday. We need to have everything at the Early Childhood Center at OU-C by 10:30. AWARD: Lion Zone Chair Mike Hathaway presented President Cindy Powell with a Key award for bringing in two or more members.

SEEDS OF HOPE: Lion Nicole Wells had two announcements concerning Seeds Of Hope:

Tomorrow at 4:00 PM is the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new homeless shelter. We need some red coats to show the Lions colors!

An Open House will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM this Sunday. Refreshments will be provided along with tours of the facility. LEO'S: Lion Nicole also spoke about our new Leo Club at Zane Trace. She said they have already had two meetings and their charter has been approved. On January 11 at

11:00 AM they will induct 25 new members. WRAP NIGHT: Santa's helpers wrapped 113 presents. We have 12 bicycles in the back room. Shelves full of groceries and over $3000 for food vouchers to deliver this Friday. I am sure Lion George would be mighty proud of this group. Another Job Well Done By Your Lions In Action!
