OUR STORY
The Ludwig Project was born in late 2013, as the byproduct of a mobile application class project. Four developers that had a common desire to help people through technology composed the project team. The idea emerged from a brainstorm session with the following question:
How could we teach music to a person with hearing impairment?
The question presented an interesting problem that sparked the curiosity and drive of everyone in the group.
Before teaching someone how to play music, we set out to bring music all together to the hearing impaired. Our first step was to create an app that along with a wristband, through vibrations and colorful visual feedback, introduces the feel and sensation of music.
The Ludwig Project emerged from this point and this is just the beginning of a long journey.
Our vision is to revolutionize the way people experience music, and removing the barriers using technology is our main goal.
