WALL

a lot of water has

passed under the

bridge in the last

year.

In december 2010

HIM released an

impressive remix

album entitled

SWRMXS, featuring

worldwide artists

such as Tiesto,

Gavin Russom and

many more.

Our last issue was

published over a

year ago, in fact we

released a mag

completely

dedicated to

SWRMXS, featuring

interviews with

many artists who

have collaborated

on the remix album.

and thanks to the

HIM’s management

(and the band of

course) we were

featured right in

front of the

homepage of the

official him website

heartagram.com.

We would like to

dedicate this issue

to the Screamworks

mysterious muse (a

perfect stranger),

to all the HIM’s

members and their

families, to the

management and to

you.

If the fool would

persist in his folly he

would become wise.

NEWS & RUMORS

the HIM return

will be probably

the most awaited

comeback EVER in

the history of the

band.

HIM are away

from the live

scenes since

summer 2010, so

this factor has

certaintly fueled

the expectation

from all the fans.

Ville has revealed

to the kerrang

magazine that he

wants to

“recapture some

sense of

mystique”. HIM

will return at

some point of this

year and their

return will be

stronger than

ever. In fact, Ville

revealed to the

english mag that

he wants to

remind people

what they are

capable of, they

wants to make

music that goes

back to the

period where they

were directly

influenced by

black sabbath.

Still lack of news

from the

upcoming record

label. We thought

that the new HIM

label is probably

Hopeless Records

because of some

statements

reported from a

“trusty” blog of a

Yellowcard

aficionado who

have chatted a bit

with the

frontman Ryan

Key. But nothing

is confirmed.

The HIM website

it’s still a poor

but interesting

black page with a

white heartagram

on it

accompained by

the Mige’s solo

album Cimmerica

playing in the

background. Will

this probably be

the next HIM

album name

(Heartagram) and

cover? Only HIM

knows.

Gas was injured in

august 2011, the

date of recovery

is still uncertain,

but Gas should

get 100% well in

the middle of

april (GET WELL

SOON MAN!).

Ville Valo is one

of the 100

greatest living

rock stars

according to the

Revolver

magazine and the

richest single

man in finland...

Congratulations

Ville!

Still no official

news for the next

helldone

(2012/2013). But we

expect an official

statement from

the Tavastia’s

staff and HIM’s

management.

Interview with

Ryan Gee

Ryan Gee is one of the most famous photographers out there. A great friend of Bam Margera, is not even a stranger to the HIM fans, in fact many HIM photoshoot are made by Ryan (for example, “The Sacrament” on).We had the honor to make a quick chat with "The Gill", here's what it came out:

Needless to mention the quantity and quality of the brands and people with whom you have worked, but do you consider yourself more of a sports, lifestyle or music photographer?

When I first started shooting photos it was all skateboarding. So basically all action all the time. The past 5 years I started to shoot more life style and band portraits. I like it because it's a different mellow pace.

Talking about skateboarding, what are the tricks or capture your favorite moments during the athletic performance?

Basically a really technical trick that takes a lot of effort to get the shot right. I respect skateboarders who put in a lot of effort into their passion of tricks.

And what about HIM, do you think you will work together again? There as some projects goin' on? What

do you remember with more happiness of the band?

Not sure when I'll work together with them again. I shot some quick lifestyle photos of Ville not long ago. I believe he was in town for a show. Other than that, the fun things I remember with them is basically when we were in Prague filming 'The Sacrament' video. There were a lot of funny moments between filming.

What do you think about iPhone Apps such as Hipstamatic, do you like them or not? Do you think will they replace the normal cameras?

I actually don't hate those apps. Their pretty cool, but it doesn't make->

you a better photographer. In order to achieve those affects you would have to print up the film a special way. Film is basically obsolete now. I just go with the flow of technology.

The next thing you are going to buy. Probably a new Apple Macbook Pro. I usually get one every 2 years.

On the right, some

amazing shoots by Ryan

Gee back in “The

Sacrament” making of

the video, more here.

The Killing Loneliness Wall

The Killing Loneliness video (U.S Version) was filmed in april 2006 and released in may 2006. The most intriguing thing of this second version of the second single released by HIM for their Dark Light album, is that it features Ville walking and singing in front of a mysterious and bizarre wall.

The wall contained in the video is a big (maybe 3x5 meters) sprayed wall with almost 15 phrases made apparently by Ville Valo itself (but some sources tells that were written by some fans), however some phrases are missing because some sentences are covered with paint.

The wall was used in various occasions as a prize for the users of the official HIM website, heartagram.com. (Almost) every piece of the wall is priceless and numbered, you can find an updated list here: http://board.heartagram.c

om/index.php?showtopic=1359

So let’s have a look some of them (some were difficult to recognize and transcript):

Easy to recognize:

1. The dark yet mood elevating melodies of the love that never leaves me

2. Crying in the shower to drop out cries of my pain

3. I weave a story with my tears

4. With knowing better days come tomorow

5. Love Metal6. Find water and

purify it and then drink it because now we are personally attached

7. With each new breath i take

8. The dark mood elevating melodies of the love that never leaves me

9. Suicide of love took away all that matters

10.Weave a story with my tears

11.You rose thorn in my heart (?)

12.With the love of my life a perfect stranger

13.Memories sharp as daggers pierce into the flesh of today

Fragments:

1. And own2. In your eyes

We have created a video where we selected the various parts where Ville sings with the wall on the background, you can find this video in the following address:http://vimeo.com/38218154

The most interesting phrase (if written by Ville) is certainly the number 12.

“With the love of my life a perfect stranger”

the true love of Ville has been found in a "perfect stranger"? We should ask Ville.
