The Minister and The Secret RelationshipBy Tingba Muhammad

When the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan toured college campuses in April 2012, the college community re-ceived his messages with extraordinary passion, thoughtful analysis, and abiding respect. Some who were interviewed by The Final Call after the lectures used the language of transformation: “It was life-changing and breathtaking.” “Honestly, this man is a force to be reckoned with.” “It was a blessing having him here and being able to grace this campus.”

Though he had already been a soldier of truth for two decades, the Minister became known to the public in the 1980s when he gained legend-ary status by confronting and backing down the forces of White supremacy that had arisen to destroy the presiden-tial candidacy of the Reverend Jesse Jackson. Touring in the wake of that episode, the Min-ister challenged students on American campuses to rethink their true identity and their di-vine role in the world. He left an indelible impression on Americans—Black and White—but his uncompromising stand for justice brought out the forces of Jewish supremacy intent on maintaining the very profitable racial status quo. Jews have become the richest single group of Americans under the same system that has locked Black America at the bottom of every socio-econom-ic indicator. They sought to blunt The Minister’s message by their incessant and mendacious charge of “anti-Semitism”—a vicious calumny that led to the researching of their history, which culminated in the first volume of The Secret Relation-ship Between Blacks and Jews, a book that proves beyond doubt that the very people who were making the charge had been at the very center of the African slave trade.

For over a decade, The Minister strategically absented himself from the campuses, returning just last year first to Howard University, then to several other Historically Black

Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), now speaking to a new generation of young men and women, who grew up hearing the name FARRAKHAN spoken with towering reverence. The fearless warrior who called 2.2 million Black Men to the Washington Mall is now calling on the students to carry the torchlight for their Black Nation.

The latest campus initiative by The Minister is not with-out controversy. The Minister exhorts our youth to gain the

knowledge and skills neces-sary to revitalize and control our own communities. He talked of strengthening our spiritual moorings, doing for self, buying land, creating jobs, pooling our resources, providing for all our own needs, including the provi-sion of food, clothing, shel-ter, and pursuing the kind of education needed to build an independent nation. But such right guidance is like kryptonite to those who have grown insanely rich through centuries of uninterrupted

exploitation.Given this history, it becomes abundantly clear why The

Minister left the students with strong guidance to read The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Volume 2. He said of the book he released in 2010: “The mission will never be fully accomplished until our people have and understand the knowledge contained in that book.” And we know that Minister Farrakhan’s mission has always been the Resurrec-tion of the REAL Children of Israel—Black people.

But what “secrets” does it possess that led The Minister to say the book is “key” to our rise as a people? How might the truth about Jewish history help us to “come out of her with great substance”? Is it “hate” or “anti-Semitism” or “bigotry,” as his attackers have claimed? Or is it a rightly guided view of a historical trauma that will continue unabated unless and until we fully understand all the hidden causes of our

devastating decline? The Messenger told us, “The coming of God in the Per-

son of Master Fard Muhammad (to Whom praise is due for-ever) is to make manifest this arch deceiver’s work against us and to acquaint us with the nature of the arch deceiver—that deceit is part of his very nature.” What we have at work in America is trickery at the highest level—of the most incred-ible magnitude—and the secret is that this “tricknology” is being perpetrated by the very people we have always believed to be our “best friends.” It took God Himself to point out Satan as he walked arm in arm with the Righteous when they came to meet their Lord (Job 1:7). So it is today that we find that our closest friends have a lot of explain-ing to do.

And we ought not feel we are alone in this cruel deception. The Most Honorable Elijah Muham-mad wrote in his book Our Saviour Has Arrived (page 177) that Jesus “was actually believing that he could convert the Jews until he learned the history of the Jews. Then he [Jesus] changed his mind and denounced them as being a race of devils...” (See John 8: 31ff.) In straight words The Messenger said that Jesus of the New Testament was actually operating under a deception about the Jewish people, until he came into the knowledge of their history, at which point he changed his mind and changed his mission.

In this potent piece of our Teachings, The Messenger is describing an extraordinary change that came as a direct result of gaining the knowledge of history—but not just any history—Jewish history. But there are liter-ally hundreds of books on Jewish history—why The Secret Relationship? It is because it reveals something that has never been exposed in such a comprehensive form. The African proverb teaches, “Until lions have their own historians, tales of the hunt shall always glorify the hunter.” And Napoleon adds, “What is history, but a fable agreed upon?”

Well, The Minister has made a new agree-ment: fables can no longer be agreed upon or even tolerated by a people fed on propaganda and starved for truth. Thus a new, accurate history of the Jews was required. And when he brought The Secret Relationship to the students on his recent mission, something very interesting occurred. The Jewish organizations that used to stampede to the venues to threaten, denounce, and repudiate Farrakhan have all fallen

silent. The Lion is telling his story.Certainly, The Secret Relationship obliterates the “agreed

upon” Black–Jewish “friendship” fable, revealing the monu-mental role the so-called Jews played in devising and insti-tuting the oppressive systems that destroyed us as a people. But it is also the embodiment of The Messenger’s edict to “Observe the operations of the White man.” It shows us the actual architecture of White supremacy, its systems and

methods of control—not the fables of “American rugged individualism, freedom and democracy” that are fed to us daily in their “schools” of indoctrination. The Secret Relationship quite astonishingly spells out EX-ACTLY how the wealthiest and most powerful people in history used their worldwide family networks to master the earth, its resources, and its people. It illuminates the entire infrastructure of Jewish dominance—from their slave-trading empires in Africa and the Western hemisphere, to their cot-ton, sugar, and tobacco monopolies, to their mastery of international bank-ing, which was fueled by these slavery-intensive enterprises. It is the premier

exposé of the means and methods that made the notorious House of Rothschild ten times the size of its nearest banking rivals. And Black slavery was at the root of all their wealth and political power! And better yet, The Secret Relationship points to how such a system that stretches from the island of Patmos all the way to the Deep Southern cotton fields of Natchez, Mississippi, can be dismantled and replaced with a new edifice based on truth and the glory of God Himself.

Once we know the history of the Jews, we now have that SECRET knowledge to build our own and Do For Self—and that is the quality of the book that The Minister has asked us to absorb, imbibe and act on. It is that quality that leads us right into the Truth of Elijah Muhammad. The Books of God—the Bible and Holy Qur’an—must lead us in our faith: there is no substitution for divine guidance. And a clear, untainted view of Jewish history only adds strength to our faith. The cover of a recent Final Call showed our Minister

holding The Secret Relationship with the bold headline, NO MORE SLAVES! Let us open ourselves to the Secret he wants us to know so that we might become fully and completely Free Black Men and Women.

White Domestic TerrorismThe Ku Klux Klan was the generic

name for literally hundreds of white domestic terrorist groups whose col-lective aim was to force the ex-slave back in “his place” on the plantation picking the commodity at the very center of the world economy—cotton. Ku Kluxers were not errant outlaws—they comprised white government officials and business and religious leaders. The Klan openly recruited in churches, synagogues and Masonic halls, and many communities even held Ku Klux Klan country fairs. Some towns even fielded KKK baseball teams. In one of their biggest demon-strations ever, held in Washington, D.C., in 1925, the government issued permits, and a special detail of marines gave tribute to the Klan leaders as they marched unmasked down Pennsylvania Ave.

When they weren’t contributing to civic pride, they were burning Black businesses, farms, schools, property, and human beings—with government sanction, protection, and participation. The so-called Red Summer of 1919 saw thousands of unhooded whites riot in 38 American cities, killing untold hun-dreds of Blacks and destroying property in the mil-lions of dollars—a forgotten American Kristallnacht of immense proportions.

Such government-sanctioned community murder ensured that Blacks would live in a constant state of terror—unwilling to risk death to cast a simple vote and unable to achieve the financial stability necessary to accumulate wealth and then pass it on to subse-quent generations. This generational wealth accumu-lation is important to future white prosperity, because it has been estimated that up to 80 percent of white people’s wealth is attributable to gifts from ancestors.

The KKK only waned in its influence when local, state and federal governments, through the various agencies and departments, more effectively achieved most of the KKK’s main objectives.

Muslims CLEARED of 9/11 Attacks

Savagery of AmericaBY THE MOST HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMAD

The great country of America and her great richness, great institutions, and her great towns and cities, spread out like a blanket over the surface of the Western Hemisphere with her tall buildings going upward over a hundred stories! The great architects and building engineers have become such experts at building to precision that it makes their past history of two and four thousand years ago look like child’s play.

Her land is shadowed with the wings of her many planes which cover her almost like a cloud. The great and wonderful work of science on the earth and in the air, her great mighty fleets afloat on the high seas (on the surface and below the surface), her great scientific mechanical communi-cations system! Yet with all of this might of skill in engineering or building, the country of America displays and practices more savagery than any civilized coun-try on the earth. And all of her educational institutions are not enough to make a man so intelligent and proud of his education and of being an American citizen that he would not practice the same savagery.

There is no such thing as law and order. The law is disregard-

ed, as though it were thrown in the jungles to be carried out by savage beasts. Murdering, killing, robbery, raping and drug addiction are the only law and order that is respected.

It has become such a country that the civilized man of intelli-gence and decency is afraid to walk the streets of the vast towns and cities of America. He would be more secure in the jungles, around and in the midst of wild beasts, than to be walking in the streets of these great cities in America after night.

Groups of robbers and murderers, killers and dope addicts are prowling the streets after night to exact their evil inten-tions upon the innocent. This is a mob of savages that the intel-ligent and decent woman should not dare venture out among. And if we see such women walking around, they are part of this sav-age people.

It has become dangerous even for the girl or woman to be stand-ing alone in any unprotected place, day or night. Rapists lurk-ing around bus stations and rob-bers also and thieves are at such stations; and with such condi-

tions existing in a so-called civilized country like America, this is the worst name that could be applied to her.

Police, detectives, and FBI all are here; but these daring sav-age acts are committed right before their eyes and ears.

By Sophia Kerby | March 13, 2012 This month the United States cel-

ebrates the Selma-to-Montgomery marches of 1965 to commemorate our shared history of the civil rights move-ment and our nation’s continued prog-ress towards racial equality. Yet decades later a broken criminal-justice system has proven that we still have a long way to go in achieving racial equality.

Today people of color continue to be disproportionately incarcerated, policed, and sentenced to death at significantly higher rates than their white counterparts. Further, racial disparities in the criminal-justice system threaten communities of color—disenfranchising thou-sands by limiting voting rights and denying equal access to employ-ment, housing, public benefits, and education to millions more. In light of these disparities, it is imperative that criminal-justice reform evolves as the civil rights issue of the 21st century.

Below we outline the top 10 facts pertaining to the criminal-justice system’s impact on communities of color.

1. While people of color make up about 30 percent of the United States’ population, they account for 60 percent of those imprisoned. The prison population grew by 700 percent from 1970 to 2005, a rate that is outpacing crime and population rates. The incarceration rates disproportion-ately impact men of color: 1 in every 15 African American men and 1 in every 36 Hispanic men are incarcerated in comparison to 1 in every 106 white men.

2. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, one in three black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime. Individuals of color have a dispropor-

tionate number of encounters with law enforcement, indicating that racial profiling continues to be a problem. A report by the Department of Justice found that blacks and Hispanics were approximately three times more likely to be searched during a traffic stop than white motorists. African Americans were twice as likely to be arrested and almost four times as likely to experi-ence the use of force during encounters with the police.

3. Students of color face harsher punishments in school than their white peers, leading to a higher number of youth of color incarcerated. Black and Hispanic students represent more than 70 percent of those involved in school-related arrests or referrals to law en-forcement. Currently, African Ameri-cans make up two-fifths and Hispanics one-fifth of confined youth today.

4. According to recent data by the Department of Education, African American students are arrested far more often than their white classmates. The data showed that 96,000 students were arrested and 242,000 referred to law enforcement by schools during the 2009-10 school year. Of those students, black and Hispanic students made up more than 70 percent of arrested or referred students. Harsh school pun-ishments, from suspensions to arrests,

have led to high numbers of youth of color coming into contact with the juvenile-justice system and at an earlier age.

5. African American youth have higher rates of juvenile incar-ceration and are more likely to be sentenced to adult prison. Accord-ing to the Sentencing Project, even though African American juvenile youth are about 16 percent of the youth population, 37 percent of their cases are moved to criminal court and 58 percent of African American youth are sent to adult prisons.

6. As the number of women incarcerated has increased by 800 percent over the last three decades, women of color have been dispro-portionately represented. While the number of women incarcerated is relatively low, the racial and eth-nic disparities are startling. African

American women are three times more likely than white women to be incar-cerated, while Hispanic women are 69 percent more likely than white women to be incarcerated.

7. The war on drugs has been waged primarily in communities of color where people of color are more likely to receive higher offenses. According to the Human Rights Watch, people of color are no more likely to use or sell il-

legal drugs than whites, but they have higher rate of arrests. African Americans comprise 14 percent of regular drug users but are 37 percent of those arrested for drug offenses. From 1980 to 2007 about one in three of the 25.4 million adults arrested for drugs was African American.

8. Once convicted, black offenders receive longer sen-tences compared to white offenders. The U.S. Sentencing Commission stated that in the federal system black offend-ers receive sentences that are 10 percent longer than white offenders for the same crimes. The Sentencing Project reports that African Americans are 21 percent more likely to receive mandatory-minimum sentences than white defendants and are 20 percent more like to be sentenced to prison.

9. Voter laws that prohibit people with felony convictions to vote disproportionately impact men of color. An estimat-ed 5.3 million Americans are denied the right to vote based on a past felony conviction. Felony disenfranchisement is exaggerated by racial disparities in the criminal-justice system, ultimately denying 13 percent of African American men the right to vote. Felony-disenfranchisement policies have led to 11 states denying the right to vote to more than 10 percent of their African American population.

10. Studies have shown that people of color face dis-parities in wage trajectory following release from prison. Evidence shows that spending time in prison affects wage trajectories with a disproportionate impact on black men and women. The results show no evidence of racial diver-gence in wages prior to incarceration; however, following release from prison, wages grow at a 21 percent slower rate for black former inmates compared to white ex-convicts. A number of states have bans on people with certain convic-

tions working in domestic health-service industries such as nursing, child care, and home health care—areas in which many poor women and women of color are disproportion-ately concentrated.

These racial disparities have deprived people of color of their most basic civil rights, making criminal-justice reform the civil rights issue of our time. Through mass imprison-ment and the overrepresentation of individuals of color within the criminal justice and prison system, people of color have experienced an adverse impact on themselves and on their communities from barriers to reintegrating into society to engaging in the democratic process. Elimi-nating the racial disparities inherent to our nation’s crim-inal-justice policies and practices must be at the heart of a renewed, refocused, and reenergized movement for racial justice in America.

There have been a number of initiatives on the state and federal level to address the racial disparities in youth incarceration. Last summer Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced the Schools Discipline Initiative to bring increased awareness of effective policies and practices to ultimately dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline. States like California and Massachusetts are considering legisla-tion to address the disproportionate suspensions among students of color. And in Clayton County, Georgia, collab-orative local reforms have resulted in a 47 percent reduc-tion in juvenile-court referrals and a 51 percent decrease in juvenile felony rates. These initiatives could serve as models of success for lessening the disparities in incarceration rates.
