Developing Skills Most of us know of events long past, and the less-than-likable actions
and failings of development in the past. This was indeed a terrible
time for Development, and Warrior Nation™ as a whole. Thankfully,
we had some good leaders take the stage and lead development into the
green once more.
WNx the will tactic was a great leader of Development. His tireless efforts and
good choices for leadership helped bring Development back from the brink.
One choice in particular stands out above the rest: his choice for WNxDHare3
as Colonel.
As soon as WNxDHare3 hit the scene as a Colonel in Development, he began taking the
initiative in transforming Development into a more viable Department than it had been in quite
awhile. Through his internal organization and his training of Development Engineers and game lead-
ers, he ensured the prospering of Development, and the increases veracity of the clan by pushing
out well-developed sections.
As such, when WNx the will tactic made the difficult choice to step down, there was but one clear
figure to choose. WNxDHare3 took the reigns as the new Brigadier General of Development. He has
been an active and inspiring leader, and will continue to be a shinning example to all. Congratula-
tions WNxDHare3, very well deserved indeed!
Letter From the Editors Hello all from the Editorial staff. It’s time again for another issue of The Nation in its brand new
format. Last month’s trial issue gave us good insight into what needed changes, and through your
feedback and the feedback found throughout the Creative Works, we have hopefully fixed some
majors mistakes and corrected some minor ones.
This month, our Combat Journalism staff put forth great effort to submit the reports on time in
prime format. The Editors quickly got to work, and here you have our first issue in months that is on
time. We’ve hopefully set a standard for the future by which all others will be compared. We hope
you will enjoy this issue, and look forward to more to come. Cheers!
April 2010 Volume 1, Issue 2
Call of Duty: Modern War-fare 2 (PS3)
The section was looking forward to a
double XP weekend, but they are
unsure whether it is intended for
Xbox only. Hopefully it is also for PS3
as they're looking forwarded to
having some fun whilst leveling up.
WNxLeftForDead is thinking of ideas
for a 3v3 Tournament. He wants 12
people to sign up and hopes that this
month they can hold a 3v3 Tourna-
ment. More news on this will be
noted on next report.
WNxPwnstar got the satisfaction of
nuking a group of people who gave
them hassle before. He has made a
youtube video showing his skills and
kills against them. Take a look in the
PS3 section and see the awesome
killing spree!
A BIG congratulations to the section on getting out of Dev after a 3 month period of time. Finally
the section is free and can hopefully give you us great news for our monthly mag. The section is
off to a good start with their first Major WNxShifty and his first request was to get a crack staff
team to whip the section into shape. Please congratulate the following Captains: FO Captain -
WNx4evaWasted BO Captain - WNxMoros and WNxCallum as Recon Captain. These guys will
hopefully crack the section and start getting the some people out and playing!
So as you could imagine this month was a busy month; with getting events and training in! With
all those recruits in I took a look at the roster and saw that they have a total of 36 primaries and
11 Secondaries. This is bloody great for a new section although some have been missing a rollcall
or two. So if you guys are reading; get signing now!
As well as the previous section, Halo 3 is widely supported by the UNSC, with 15 primary mem-
bers (for those of you who don’t know, the borderline for console games is not 15 but 10 mem-
bers, so don’t be afraid!). This section has also welcomed four new members this month. As well
as his older brother, Halo 3 organizes gamenight regularly, hosted by the major WNxAzotum, and
a “Flag tournament” is in preparation, which is basically a timed capture the flag. Concerning
promotions, WNxZ33 has been chosen to be the new Recon captain of the section.
“WNxPwnstar got the satisfaction of nuking a group of people who gave them hassle before.” -Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 EU (Xbox 360)
A big day arrived for the Xbox section as they
had a new surprise coming out on the 30th
March, yes you guessed it! The MW2 map
pack, called the “Stimulus Package,” which
involves two of the old maps from CoD4:
Crash and Overgrown. There are also a few
new maps including Storm, Bailout, and Sal-
vage.
Modern Warfare 2 will also be having a dou-
ble XP weekend from the 2nd to the 5th.
Therefore, the section will get both new maps
and double XP! The CoD MW2 section is going
to have some great fun! Join them if you have
the game!
The section also has two new captains! Please
congratulate WNxButtChuckles and
WNxMcCLURE361 on receiving Recon Captain
(ButtChuckles) and Battle Ops Captain
(McCLURE). Congratulations you two! We
(along with your section) will be eager to see
some of your work to report on!

Halo 3 (Xbox 360)
Valve Games (Xbox 360)
Left 4 Dead 2 Expansion
Although there is not much going on
in this section as a whole, Left 4 Dead
2 is getting an expansion that will
include the cast from the original
game.
Inactivity
There really has not been that many
posts in the section in a very long
time. Hopefully this will change over
the course of the next month.
MAG (PS3) Out of Development
MAG, a fairly recent game released for the Playstation 3, has had great support and even has
more members then some regular sections. Therefore, the section has now made it out of devel-
opment and was added to the Console section. WnxHighRuler has been named the sections first
Major and WnxAssertiveBard has been named the sections first Captain of Battle Operations. It is
great to see a section make it this far and I am sure that the section will continue to impress all of
Warrior Nation™.
Lots of Recruits
So, how does a section make it out of development? Well, the answer to that is simple and that
is by recruiting, and recruit they did. MAG has had 9 new members and 2 members change their
primary in order to join just in the month of March. Great work guys, you really have worked
hard to get this section moving.
Gamenights
Another major aspect of any section is of course gamenights and events. Well, although no day
has been set for gamenights WnxHighruler is working on fixing this by creating a poll to see what
day is best for everyone. We will just have to wait and see what is planned for this section.

Guild Wars Series
Fissure of Woe – An event took
place on March 27, in which mem-
bers of the section tackled the Fis-
sure of Woe and smashed their previ-
ous time by over 30 minutes. A good
time was had by all who participated.
April Fool’s Joke – A surprise to those
who ventured into town on April 1st
this year spread good natured laughs
and cheer throughout the forum and
in game. The primary characters
were reduced to pygmies while their
pets were super-sized. Memories of
last year’s joke came into play as
those who were around remembered
how all of the characters were trans-
formed into Gwen dolls.
Allusion to Guild Wars 2 storyline? –
A love story was discovered between
Gwen and Lieutenant Thackeray. It is
said that this leads to a character in
Guild Wars 2 who happens to be a
Thackeray himself and quite possibly
a descendant of Gwen. Only time will
tell.
CabalSEA
Activity – Diablo 2 West ended up on probation this month and is in danger of being removed
from the list of games with Warrior Nation and its members merging with Diablo 2 East and
Diablo 2 Europe which would likely result in one section for all of Diablo 2. Without someone to
step up and push for a dramatic recruiting spree it looks as though the section will no doubt
merge with East again. Hopefully someone reading this will do something to light the spark of
interest of those members who have left or to recruit those yet to join Warrior Nation.
Recon – CabalSea is seeking new recruits to
help bolster their roster and bring back the
section to the level of activity it once had. Do
you have what it takes? CabalSea is a free
MMORPG game that awaits your download.
Visit www.cabalsea.com for more details.
New Patch! – As of March 29, a new patch
released brings Illusion Castle and Steamer
Crazy to add to the fun that is CabalSEA. In
Illusion Castle, the character style must be
above 120 with a battle style above level 11.
The reward for completing this dungeon is
10,000 Honor Points and the dungeon dura-
tion is 2 hours. Don’t have that much time?
Try Steamer Crazy. This dungeon duration is
25 minutes and requires only a character style
level above 110 with a battle style above level
10. A new weapon has also been unveiled
with the latest patch. The item is dropped
from a Legendary Box after defeating the boss
in the Illusion Castle. Don’t fret if you do not
receive it after killing the boss the first time,
as there is only a chance that the item will
drop. The item itself is class specific, and
spawns with 3 random unique options.

Diablo 2 - West
New Patch and Ladder Reset – March 23, marked the release of Patch 1.13c and the ladder reset
to start season 6. There is much speculation that this may be the last patch before Diablo 3
comes out, but with the amount of time it took Blizzard to release this patch, it may be years
before Diablo 3 makes its debut.
New Mystery Revealed – In addition to the re-specialization reward for completing the Den of
Evil quest in each difficulty, another opportunity to reset stats and skills exists. Similar to the keys
that open portals leading to “Uber Tristram”, upon killing bosses throughout the game there
arises the possibility of an “Essence” to drop. These “Essences” when combined in the Horadric
Cube create a “Token of Absolution” which when right clicked resets your stats and skills.
Activity on the Rise - With the onset of a new ladder season and patch 1.13c, activity in game has
been higher that it has in over a year. The section is friendly and will welcome anyone interested
as primary, secondary or non-primary with open arms.
“Due to a recruiting event the section has been holding there are twenty five new members!” -PangYa
Knights Online last month activity (on forums at least) seems to be way “relaxed”, and even
dangerous for the section life, last month roll call summary gave sixteen primary's and three
secondary's which can be a problem since a section needs 20 as minimum to stay in Warrior
Nation, now it's just a matter of waiting for this months rollcall and wish them the best of luck.
But something good is that they have got five new members and one is coming back to the sec-
tion, that may well help them on this month rollcall’s numbers.
The game is getting a serious problem with the hackers and duping items, and their trading sys-
tem is disabled for now, this reminds me about the situation of other RPG sections, Pangya also
had and still do have that problem, I can’t understand why people need to hack and annoy hon-
est people. Anyway lets wish Knights Online the best of luck, to recover and don’t go to proba-
tion.
The Never Winter Knights last months activity was ok, they have got many game nights which
shows that the members are active. There was just a new member, but the little recruiting activ-
ity doesn’t affect the section since the last roll call summary gave them a nice twenty nine pri-
mary's members and eight secondary. The section is working smooth and is no longer in danger,
but like all section recruiting it is always something good so lets hope they recruit more people
this month, and that their rollcall summary gets bigger, and if it doesn’t it’s also ok.
A section which fell from the greatness to the deep dark abyss. Anyhow PangYa’s last roll call
summary dropped a thirty eight primary’s and five secondary, thirty nine is quite good for any
section, not as good as past number which were above the sixty, but the section is on its way to
been big again. Due to a recruiting event the section has been holding there are twenty five new
members!
The section is also running a guild shirt event which is on hold because the people in charge of
the design are not getting much time to talk about the topic, but it will be a nice event.
Also last month some changes in some of the sections administration, last month the old sec-
tion’s major resigned from his job and promoted WNXVampeira to Major and WNxLauris to FO
Captain, but the new Major couldn’t do her job because of serious real life problems, therefore
WNxLauris took her roll as Major until WNXVampeira could be back. There have been other
changes too, WNxRyanne has been promoted to BO captain. And WNxNightSider to MP.

Rose Online
As of 04/01 Rose Online updated to
patch V.252 this included:
Several new information windows.
These windows will display when
your character reaches milestone
levels, such as Level 40 for planet
Luna quest, level 50 for the ability to
drive carts, and so on. They also
added various items to the item mall.
Several changes were made to skills,
some item stats, buffs, and nerfs.
Finally this patch also corrected 3
bugs.
At present no events of a large na-
ture are scheduled any time soon.
For those hoping for an Easter event at Runescape... well congratulations you get your wish!
In this year’s Easter holiday event, you’ll once again visit Easter bunny Jr's egg plant factory. This
year you can expect many of the similar tasks as last year, but with the addition of him needing
you to manage the whole facility.
Last Friday, March 26th, Runescape conducted the first ever big ticket prize draw. The winner
wins a lifetime membership to Runescape along with an all expense paid trip to their studio's.
Let's cross our fingers, and wish our Warrior Nation Runescape players luck that it might be one
of them.
Their next big Prize draw will be done April 26th. So keep your fingers crossed all month. For
more info on how to be eligible. just go to the Runescape homepage.
On a slightly twisted Side note. April 1st allowed some of the more gullible to fall for a Runescape
joke. Where they offered a "cheese shield". Needless to say some were spoofed, but in a show of
good sportsmanship Runescape has release it's newest Wet N Wildy map at http://
services.jagex.com/m=news/img/Large/wildy_en.jpg
Same as February this section is experiencing a low activity, and they are not getting new re-
cruits, last month they’ve got just two new members, and just a small number are active on
forums, I don’t know how many more months this section can get a roll call summary under the
20 primary’s but with last month roll call they have survived two, the last roll call summary
dropped a 15 primary's and 5 secondary, if there are just three months then they will need to
work a lot to make those numbers grow, as for now they will probably fall on probation and
that's never good thing for a section, hopefully they will make the section recover and be safe
from been archived.
“For those interested in a fun fantasy based game, this might be a game you can really get into.” - Runes of Magic
Runes of Magic
Runescape
For those interested in a fun fantasy based
game, this might be a game you can really get
into. Dual class characters, two races to
choose from, and a constantly expanding
world. This month in Runes Of Magic are
eagerly awaiting the start of the Easter special
events. Although no specifics have been given
yet.
All are hoping that this years Easter event will
be as fun as last years event. Of course there
will be the special event Gashas which we
have come to love. For those who don't know
what a Gasha is, it is a surprise package which
doesn't simply contain one item but also give
you the opportunity to get another item for
free!
For a full list of what the Gashas can contain.
Go here.

Of course we are all eagerly anticipating the
newest update to Runes Of Magic, and hope-
fully soon we'll start finding out some of the
juicier details of this highly anticipated expan-
sion of the Runes Of Magic universe.

WoW NA PvP Horde Detheroc
NOTICE - Section Closing
Sadly Detheroc has had several prob-
lems, and members will have to find
a new section for their primary. No
further information is available at
this time.
Notice of closing was posted 04/04.
WoW NA PvE Kael’thas Led by their intrepid leaders like their Grand Master WNxKira this group is primed and ready to
kick the southern end of a northbound Mob!
They have been actively raiding 4-5 nights a week.
With two 10 player groups raiding Ice Crown Citadel. They have only 2 bosses left in the raid at
the time of this article. They expect to have that cut down to just 1 by the end of the week.
They have also been running a 25 player raid 2 nights a week, and it's progressing well. Players
are gearing up better, and better With progress visible from week to week.
This coming month Kael'thas is looking forward to Noblegarden, an annual Easter event with
quests that can win players achievements, and earn a title. Wouldn't that be a nice Easter egg to
find under a bush in the Garden!

WoW’S Death Knight.
Battlefield Heroes
Danger
The section desperately needed to
pull together in March in order to
survive in WN, they also had to find a
new Major. Hopefully WNxNemesis
will be able to help the section ma-
jorly and is already trying to organize
events in-game.
Battlefield 2/2142
Time To Kick It Into Gear
The section needed to make a big
effort this past month to recruit new
members, WNxBadPlayer popped in
to motivate members to recruit.
However the section soon found
itself needed a new Major, which
they got in the form of WNxNay. Nay
has been trying to motivate members
with a Recruitment Event, whilst also
in need of finding a new FO.
Air Rivals
Friendly Competition
The BO Captain WNx Jazka has been organizing a Championship Tournament for the members to
get in some competition. Jazka has also been encouraging the section to get a few Smack
Matches in to keep themselves entertained. Apart from that there isn't much else to report on,
hopefully there'll be more next month as well as the results of the tournament.
'Murder?' - Air Rivals are a violent place and
like to "kill their Major". This is an event
where the Major hides in a map and then the
FO Captain WNxKingPin gives a cryptic mes-
sage to give you a hint where he is then you
must find him hiding then duel him and de-
feat him! There is a countdown until this
event! So if you like the sound of it then go
join in for the fun! More on this next report.
The section was recently looking for a new BO
Captain and a Recon captain. The long journey
of searching took a whole 2 weeks but they
managed to snag some suckers, I mean catch
some apps and the Major has chosen his next
slaves! Please congratulate WNxSharp911
BOC and WNxHostiles RC! Hope you guys do
well in your task ahead! Now get to work!
Cause for Celebrations - A Special congratula-
tions to WNxSharp911 as his wife is pregnant
and they got a 3D picture of the baby. The
baby is due on the 9th of June and is looking
great so far. Best wishes to you and your wife
Sharp and hope the baby is not too much of a
handful for you.

C&C Renegade
Area 51
Glory?
There have been many exciting things happening in the C&C section to mention. To start with
WNxOfzo was promoted at the start of the month to be the new FO Captain for the section. The
section also saw one of its members awarded the Member of The Month award, WNxAimer a
member from the section was nominated and received the award for the Renegade section.
An Eventful Month
Well it would be fair to say the section is always busy, holding their usual traing sessions and
events throughout the month. However this month saw the winner of the February Screenshot
Contest, WNxDragon being announced. Recon Captain WNxKenny has also been creating a bit of
competition with his 'Race to the Top of the Ren Ladder'. As well as members holding matches
against each others...You'd think though that the Ren section would be excelling in the FPS Chal-
lenge with such frequent events?
“When you look at their forums you'll see great activity, match reports every-where, events being set up a lot, exciting contests and of course important mes-sages.” -Call of Duty 4 (PC)
When you look at their forums you'll see great activity, match reports everywhere, events being
set up a lot, exciting contests and of course important messages. This section has also been
working hard to recruit, with a few members they set up a great recruiting event and even made
it into the Top 5 section of WN.
Beyond filled our agenda!
WNxBeyond set up some events for this week, this great member does everything for the sec-
tion. So yeah, Monday? Training of course! Tuesday? Interclan! It goes on and on, so cancel all
your appointments and show up for some fun!
Movie Mode
The members of the COD 4 section are in the mood to make movies. I watched three of them
already which were great and I'm expecting more soon. I'm sure everyone is wanting to see
them, so go check them out at the forums!
Like always the UO Section is as active as ever, holding their usual training sessions and game
nights. There were also a couple of field promotions in the section. Also a few WaWa matches
have been played, to check the status of those you can check out the forum.
2x2 Tourney Coming Up
Last time there was a 2x2 Tourney it was very successful, so they put one up again. The competi-
tion was created, and to join it you can read the thread on the UO forums.
In this section there were also a lot of things going on, with quite a few matches and events
taking place. Ofcoures this month again, the Call of Duty 2 section is in the Top 3 of biggest sec-
tions in the WN Clan. We even managed to attract back our old Major, WNxGixxercarl.
Winner of the Screenshot Contest
This great, loyal person has won the prize. WNxBedanarr! Great work, and keep it up!

Call of Duty 4 (PC)
Call of Duty: United Offensive (PC)
Call of Duty 2 (PC)
Day of Defeat: Source
The figures are not so good for the
section. With only 12 primary mem-
bers and no newcomers this month,
DOD:S is now in Recon. As part of the
Recon Black Ops team, WNxAwp666
is now in charge of increasing activity
and recruitment in the section. As a
consequence, Awp666 organized a
Day of Defeat Source 1v1 tourna-
ment. Contestants are going to play
until one of them reaches 40 frags,
on the map Anzio. Eight players are
part of it, and involves some of them
are secondary members. Good luck
to all of you!
A crucial save for the CA sections as they have just scraped 15 Primaries for this month. I hope
next month there are a few more recruits and the section firmly gets back to it's feet!
The Combat Arms section has a wicked ninja who managed to knife a guy with a peepee-19 on a
1v1. His team chanted him on and told him he is the only 'True Ninja'. Hopefully his ninja skills
can keep the section going strong!
WNxZavon wants all the members of the Combat Arms to write their in game names in the
known thread for obvious reasons as a mix up could happen in game or people could be removed
for not knowing that they are in WN etc. so if you're in the section post your name up now!
The section has managed to recruit two new members but on the other hand there has been a
few saying their goodbyes. This might be it for the WaW section but hopefully they can escape it
back and recruit a few before the end of this rollcall or they will be forced to shut down which
would be a real shame.
WNxNemesadi has come up with a frag fest contest where you go out and take a rage on a server
and get a load of kills, then take a screenshot and post it in the thread. No one yet has sent in a
SS but hopefully there will be some people joining in.
Best wishes to you guys on getting your 15 primaries! I hope it all goes well for those who are
trying to keep the section alive! You guys can do it!
“WNxNemesadi has come up with a frag fest contest where you go out and take a rage on a server and get a load of kills…” -Call of Duty: World at War (PC)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC)
Combat Arms
This great and active section has had many
things going on, including some promotions.
WNxBadger got promoted to BO with
WNxShazz stepping down. Also we have
WNxCombalex taking the place of Military
Police!
1x1 Tourney
A special 1x1 Tourney, Riot Shield only! The
rules are written in a thread made by
WNxSilver1
The Final Bout tournament!
Every primary and secondary can compete in
this, it's also 1x1. When you win a match or
lose a match you get points, though if you
forfeit you lose one.
At the end of the month the points will be
checked and the winner will be given a trophy
and a place in the Challenger Hall of Fame!
For now WNxCombalex is on top with eight
points, followed by WNxZaptagious and
WNxBadgar with six points.

Call of Duty: World at War (PC)
Dystopia
After the great exodus of February
2010, only 15 primary members are
remaining and dystopia is on the
brink of being put in probation. The
newly promoted major, WNxGump,
decided to handle things, for instance
trying to organize a gamenight…
without success. Unfortunately,
activity is at its lowest point for a
long time and only a few members
are willing to follow the major, trying
to give birth to a brand new Dystopia
section.
Golden Eye: Source
Contrary to the two previous sec-
tions, Goldeneye is doing well with
almost 50 primary members and a
good amount of activity; with two
gamenights per week and a bunch of
tournaments in progress. Besides, at
the moment this article is written,
this section is ranked 2nd in the FPS
challenge. At this occasion, ”David vs
Goliath”, a tournament where the
player has to struggle against the two
admins of Goldeneye (WNxCJL9788
and WNxBadPlayer) took place dur-
ing the month, with 12 participants.
The winner being the one with the
highest Kill Death Ratio. WNxSkipper
won the tournament, with a KDR of
0.89. Also, a graphic design contest
to replace the Steam and Xfire sec-
tion’s group image was held during
February. The winner is not known at
the moment. Finally, WNxNozzy has
been elected Member of the Month
by the major, WNxPPK.
Left 4 Dead
Out of the Gutter
It is no secret that the Left 4 Dead section has had lots of trouble keep their heads above water in
terms of member count over the past few months. However, this last month they had twenty
primary members sign, with most of them being active participants in both the forums and
Events. This seems to be the light at the end of the tunnel for them, as they will be safe from
probation for now the second month in a row. Since March 1st they have had seven new prima-
ries, one new secondary, and one returning primary. With the recruits seemingly pouring in, it
will be interesting to see what the future holds for them. Let us all give a great big congratula-
tions to their officers WNxWesker, WNxHedgehog and WNx The Pope, as well as all their mem-
bers both new and old.
Events Galore
How is it that an old dying section was able to work their way back to semi-respectable numbers?
Well, they have had no shortage of events and plan on having even more. In the month of March
they have had many a successful gamenight. These gamenights are the meat that keeps this
section together and also what helps them to appeal to new members. In addition to
gamenights, they also have a forum contest called the 'March Caption Contest' which ended on
March 30th. WNxThe Pope was declared as the winner of the contest, so let us all give him a
great big congrats. Although most of their Events have been successful the Man Vs Tank Tourna-
ment was canceled due to lack of interest they should be starting a new tournament very shortly.
Promotions
Due to all the activity in this section there were three people who were granted field promotions
for the month of March. WNxSkipper and WNxJWelch were both promoted to Corporal while
WNxBlood Raven was promoted to Sergeant. Also there were several Honorable mentions for
the new members who have not been here quite long enough to be given a promotion this
month. Also, WNxHedgehog was promoted to Major due to WNxWesker stepping down and
changing primary. He is still searching for both an FO and now a newly opened Recon position. 11
A hanging scene from Left 4 Dead.
Halo (PC)
Supported by the whole UNSC, Halo
numbers among the most active
sections of the Nation. Some new
members arrived to reinforce the
roster which is already well-filled.
The leadership regularly hosts two
gamenights, in addition to some
tournaments and contests, like a 1v1
tournament and even a recruitment
contest. Also, the leadership of the
section has changed a bit : WNxNessy
has to resign from his major position,
WNxJÏNGØ has been chosen to re-
place him. In addition to this,
WNxKaRath and WNxThorsTer have
been promoted respectively to field
ops captain and recon captain. And
last but not least, WNxWolf is the
Member of March 2010.
Team Fortress 2
Activity
Although there has not been very much activity in this section, Aegis from Black Ops has stepped
in to help the leadership get this section back in the heat of the action. The current attempt is to
have two Outfit nights a week. Hopefully this will help and we will see this section back in the
safe zone sometime soon.
Recruit, Recruits, and More Recruits
So, in the month of March Team Fortress 2
had a grand total of twelve new members
joining their ranks. There was even one day
that there were five members recruited dur-
ing one single event. I think we know by now
to always expect great things, especially in the
area of recruiting from this section.
Events
The only thing that Team Fortress 2 has had
more than recruits is events. In the month of
March they have had 8 game nights, only now
instead of them being an hour long they go
much longer due to merging the recruiting
nights and the game nights into one weekly
event. They also are having a monthly tourna-
ment and a monthly forum's contest.
Shattered's Word
Shattered's word is a forum contest in which
Shattered posts a riddle and participants PM
him the answer. Those who get it correct
receive rep from shatteredsword himself. This
month's riddle was “What goes around the
world but stays in a corner? The answer, for
those of you who don't already know, was a
stamp. Five people got it correct, with WNx
Krit Sandvich being the first to answer cor-
rectly.

War Rock
Planetside
Keep Fighting
Although War Rock only had 19 primary members this month, they keep growing and look like
they are going to just be getting stronger. They had seven new members this month and at the
rate they are growing that number can only go up.
Promotions
At the beginning of the month WNxJaideep was promoted to BO after showing how hard he
could work as MP. He worked so hard as BO that when WNxZacboi101 stepped down from ma-
jor, the final decision rested on WNxJaideep getting a second promotion in the same month.
“WNxLocklear, GM of the DOW II section, has displayed a whole new level of awesome, as he achieved a true skill of 31.” -Warhammer 40k: DoW II
New Members!
Please welcome the 4 newest members in the OGame Alliance: WNxNutella, WNxConan,
WNxLadyDufal and WNxFearLess. Also welcome WNxKOTR, WNXTrillian, WNxLittleRage and
WNxWattZ who joined the section as well.
WN Scared Them Off
The war between WN and the JEDI/SITH looks to be over, as WN scared most of the JEDI/SITH
members into vacation mode. This gives WN time to rebuild their fleets and now they are waiting
for The JEDI/SITH members to come out of vacation, so they can blow them up.
Weirdest Expedition's
Captain Steeler told the troops to try and find the Weirdest Expedition result. After a slow start
the members of OGame started finding the weirdest results they could, the event ends at the
end of the month and it's going to be close on whoever wins it.
Another Millionaire
WNxArby has joined those privileged few, being another WNx Member reaching over 1 million
points. This is a grand achievement in OGame and also very time consuming.
Truly Awesome
WNxLocklear, GM of the DOW II section, has displayed a whole new level of awesome, as he
achieved a true skill of 31. WNxLocklear is showing that he is in the top group of players in DOW
II. He is also currently ranked 74th in the world in 2v2 games.
GTI Contest - March
Another guess the item contest was held this month. Five members participated in this contest
and perhaps the item was to easy to guess, as all 5 of the members got the correct answer, but
as WNxLocklear was the fastest of them all, he gets the win.
Loyalists of WN
Congratulations to WNxClash and WNxManiac who received their 4 year loyalty medals early this
month. Both of these members have been with the section for a long time and it looks like they
will stay for a long time.
League of Champions
The League of Champions (LoC) is a friendly 1v1 season where each week, WNxLocklear selects
two members to vs. each other. The First match of the LoC 2010 season was between WNxAbad-
don and WNxVioletHeart. WNxAbaddon proved that he was the better player and won the first
match of the 2010 season. The Second match was also played late in march between WNxFUBAR
and current champion WNxAbaddon, WNxAbaddon went 2-0 this season as he cruised to victory
against WNxFUBAR.
The End of the Feb 1v1 Tournament
DOW II's 1v1 tournament finally concluded in late march, This 1v1 tournament was long and
tiring for many, but three stood above the rest and took gold, silver and bronze. In 3rd place with
the bronze... WNxAerin, in 2nd place with the silver... WNxDarkRaven and in 1st place with the
shiny gold... WNxMarvin. Congratulations to the 3 of you, especially WNxMarvin the tournament
winner.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II
C&C Series
A hard congratulations to
WNxShotty, former major of the
section for being promoted to Recon
Black Ops. This left a vacant spot
which was filled by WNxRad, an
obvious choice for the section!
With the release of C&C4, the section
is seeing a large drop in numbers due
to transfers. While some still remain,
the majority of players are transfer-
ring. The future is always full of sur-
prises, so don't count them out yet!
Ladder Reset
Good news for some and bad news for others. As a new season starts, the WC3 Ladder rankings
reset and WNxPook is trying to lead a charge and gather as many members as possible to help
get WNx into a high ranking in the Clan Solo Ladder. Only time will tell if WNxPook is successful.
New Xfire Clan Image
As the old one was WNxMirager decided to hold a contest for the designers of the section, in
order to get a new Xfire Clan Image. WNxTrinity rose above the rest and easily won the contest
with his magnificent piece of art.
Haiku Contest
Basically Japanese poetry, but not in Japanese . WNxPook proved that he isn't just an awesome
solo ladder player, when he won this contest easily, getting all the votes.
1v1 DotA Tournament
WNxShazzam hosted his first event this month, holding a 1v1 DotA tournament. Eight players
signed up and the first round was done within a week. The Round 1 results were WNxEric def.
WNxfearlessmuse, WNxWeeeooo def. WNxMirager, WNxNeru def. WNxWattZ & WNxShazzam
def. WNxIhateNewbs
New DotA 6.67
The newest DotA map was released late march, showing major hero changes, This is a good thing
for DotA players, as they can try to get accustomed to the changes.

New Patch
Patch 1.24e came up in early March, it only
had five fixes in it, but all related to hacks.
Blizzard reacted very quickly towards this
hacks, sensing a problem of them. One of the
hacks was called a 'sheep hack' where it turns
all the units into sheep... A bit weird isn’t it?
Hopefully Blizzard can keep patching and keep
the hacks on the public servers.
Will it survive!
After having ever-increasing inactivity, WC3
EU has found its FO, RG and its Recon HG
dismissed as they weren't meeting the stan-
dards of recruiting given by the Recon Depart-
ment. As both these spots were opened up,
the only current leadership role belongs to
the GM, WNxCominBk2life. The WC3 EU
section is surely going to be archived as soon
as Starcraft 2 is released as the majority of
their members including ex-leadership and
current leadership will join the Starcraft 2
section. Many thought they would stay alive
to then, but now it seems that it will not.

Heroes of Newerth
HoN has not been so active on the
last month but neither so inactive, I
can say they have been “moderated”
active, which a nice amount of game
nights but not exceeded which is not
bad actually. WnxHugs4Peace has
been promoted to Recon Capt. on
the last month. There are also two
new members on the section and
they are: WNxiRANDUMBF and
WnxRaven. As for the field ranks
there were a lot of promotions but I
can’t list them all here because it
would be a long space used...
HoN last roll call summary dropped a
good number with thirty two pri-
mary’s and eight secondary’s which is
a very good number. And the last
thing to report of HoN is that they
just added a new sub-forum to dis-
cuss about competitive games.
Ikariam.org Gamma
On the last month three new mem-
bers join IG crew and they are:
WNxScholes, WNxPolar and WNxKing
Ibby.
There is not to much to write about
the section because they haven been
experience some activity problem,
but I am sure they will get more
activity on this new month. Their last
roll call number were eighteen pri-
mary’s and six secondary. Not pro-
motion to talk about more than a few
field rank promos. Three member
achieved the two years loyalty medal
and they are WNxDEM, WNxVicious
Bunny and WNxRaelaszun.
Battle for Middle-Earth II Strength & Beyond
The Battle for Middle-Earth II section is going, going, strong! With the rollcall results showing 20
primaries, the game is well-to do, but plans on focusing on recruitment.
Moving On Up
To aid in game activities, and increase recruitment efforts, GM WNxGaleth promoted two cap-
tains. WNxMurder, to increase in-game activities as HG Battle Ops, and WNxHarakDem to head
the recruitment command as HG Recon.
Activities & Recruitment
Gamenights are an important time for this section. Held on Saturdays and Sundays, attendance
varies but shows Sundays to be strong! Aside from gamenights, a screenshot contest was an-
nounced with a "free for all" attitude. HarakDem also announced a 2v2 tournament hosted at
http://www.gamereplays.org. The winner is set to receive a possible C&C Key! Good luck to all!
