• Provide a clear an updated picture on projects and their development / a monitoring & evaluation system

• Ensure full transparency of projects, Avoid overlaps of projects / duplication of efforts, Increase aid efficiency

• Unify processes for establishing sector strategies

• Show if needs are met or not / take account of actual, planned and potential donor assistance

• Define goals and objectives to close the gap / establish priorities and an action plan with benchmarks / Enable static & dynamic planning
