This May comes the new 8th edition Tomb king army, so the grand army of Ra slumbers from itstombs again. The dust flows from the crypts, webs fall from our constructs and our tomb blades a cleaned to shred the living blood of our enemies.

With the new book soon to hit this May, its time to update our Signature and Avatar on the wonderful Khemri.co.uk. How lovely.

I’m doing all the games and practice games for this year’s Leviathan as motivation posters, justsomething different than the normal battle reports, and mainly to end the old 6th Ed army-book off withsomething memorable considering I’m stuffed winning anything tourney wise. So here goes, Number 1

Lost to Vampire Counts.

Our land has seen witness to a new creature, strange snakes with no mouths and scales. To my best knowledge they must have come from the Ancient Entrance to the Underworld. But

I cannot say for sure at this stage. One thing is certain somehow these strange green snakes

are dawn by the lure of our powerful incantations, is this proof of coming events or is this just a natural event?

I have also seen these strange snakes as Kelop stated around the Pyramid of Ra. The Blackman say they too have seen them around the Ancient Entrance to the Underworld and the statues of Ra and Ka Ra Sekhmet. Maybe there is something in the lure of power to these creatures. I will examine this further in my travels.

I have finished my research on these strange snake creatures; I captured one by luring it with low power incantations of smiting (believe it or not). I did not hurt the creature because it was a snake and I did not want to offend the Asp Goddess “praise be her name”.

My study did achieve some very interesting facts none the less.

The snakes are not really snakes but a subspecies of half snake half leech. I do believe Kelop was right that they came from the Ancient Entrance to the Underworld because they seem to live on moisture in all its form. The snakes

seem to link it by a force of energy (best described as magical) and suck the very moisture from their prey. Small ones seem to take a very long time but I have gathered evidence that leads me to believe that larger versions of this species can turn its prey to dust in seconds such interesting creatures indeed.

I am honored.

These snakes are getting close to our holy casket of Ra, They keep their distance bare there. I hope they do not become pests when I open the casket for Xaltotun.

Yes, these “Blub Snakes” are also hanging around our ruins and other places of power. I’m still looking into their behavior and I have Kelop studying some

way of manipulating our smiting incantations to use it to command, control them.

Now I know this is a legal move and its backed up by a straightforward ruling in the rulebook BUthis sort of re-writing of the rules on small little rule points as this that sometimes makes warham

“win by a technicality” game.

Thank Ra it is here at last, skipping 7th we now get a brand new rewrite to our very poor and outdatedarmy book. Any more games I play with the old book will not be added to Book of Ra-num, the battle will be with the new 8th army book.

I wouldn’t worry about missing anything though; the chances of me playing any sort of game wit current armybook now are very remote.

The following two battles are played on the 24 April 2011, at Unlimited Hobbies using the fantasth Ed armybook. Also Damien Purling will take command of our three Tomb Scorpions and our twScreaming Skull Catapults.

Note: Yes, yes I know we were not doing anymore. But hay we have to do something until we get our boney hands on the book.

All The following battles are 2500 points and are using the nice a fluffy ERIC RULES, which are like standard DOGCON RULES with some-more fair added rules. Also these games are using a rule-set that allows all terrain to be attacked and destroyed, Nice.
