NDDOT’s Mobile Apps page 

allows users to view the web 

version of our travel map, as well as 

download any of our available mobile 

apps.  Mobile apps currently available 

are ND Renewals and ND Roads.  

NDDOT GovDelivery

There are two ways to download the NDROADS mobile travel informa on map: 

Open the NDDOT Travel Informa on Map on your Apple or Android smart phone. You will automa cally receive a pop up box 

asking if you’d like to download the app NDROADS.  Click OK and follow instruc ons to install the app.   

Click the NDDOT Mobile Apps link on the le  side of the NDDOT home page www.dot.nd.gov . On the following page you will 

find links to the Apple App Store and the Android Google Play Store. A er clicking the link to your respec ve store, the follow-

ing page will have links to the NDRoads app and NDRenewals applica ons. NDRoads is the mobile app for the travel infor-

ma on map, while NDRenewals is the mobile app for vehicle registra on renewals. 

 

NDDOT GovDelivery:  

GovDelivery is a free email and/or text message subscrip on service to enable people to receive no fica ons on customizable 

topics of interest such as road closures, travel condi on changes, or even career opportuni es.

network of Environmental Sensor 

Sta ons (ESS) that makes up the 

Road Weather Informa on System 

(RWIS). These condi ons are       

reported at 29 loca ons throughout 

the state and are available in several 

different formats.

This view (le  image) shows average 

speeds and current atmospheric and 

pavement condi ons at all sta ons in 

a table. Each sta on can be clicked on 

for more sta on specific informa on.  

State Summary Full View 

This view (right image) allows scrolling through all    

sta ons and shows average speeds and atmospheric 

and pavement condi ons. It also has thumbnails of 

camera images at the sta ons that can be clicked on to 

provide a larger image. Individual sta ons        and a 

table view of all sta ons        can be accessed from     

this page.  

Individual ESS View  

The current view (above image) provides camera images, 

average speeds, and atmospheric, pavement, and      

subsurface condi ons. The 24 Hours view (right image) 

has graphs and tables of average speeds and                

atmospheric, pavement, and subsurface condi ons over 

the past 24 hours.
