Included in this product range is a line of beaded botanicals made by artisans whose l ives have been affected in some way by H IV /A IDS . The mon i e s earned are their main source of income and al low them to care for their family members and purchase medicine.

S T A I N L E S S S T E E L T h e s t a n d a r d s ta in less s tee l p lanters are made of 304 or 430 grade s ta in less s tee l - but 316 mar ine g rade s t a i n l e s s s t e e l c a n b e s upp l i e d on request which is recommended if the planters are to be used near the sea.

The 304 grade stainless steel is recommended for in ter io r or exter io r use . The 430 grade s t a i n l e s s s t e e l i s s p e c i f i c a l l y p r o d u c e d fo r in te r io r use in a reas where rus t i s no t preva lent .

I t i s important to keep the s ta in less s tee l c lean and f ree f rom any corros ive res idue to avo id rus t prob lems.

STE E L The s tandard s tee l p lan te rs a re made of 2mm th ick mi ld s tee l . These can be powder coated or supp l ied in an actua l rus t f in i sh . The powder coat ing wi l l p rotect the s tee l f rom corros ion to an extent but th i s i s not guaranteed as different environments wi l l have var ied e f fects on the mater ia l over the long term.
