Last Monday the faculty chartered a steamer and carried the entire body of students out to. an inland in the gulf, where they picnicked all day long. On Thanksgiving day a great football game between Southern and Stetson takes place in Tampa. A special train has been contracted for to carry the entire student body to St. Peters- burg and from there via steamer to Tampa, where the entire crowd of yelling football fiends will be turned loose upon the green sward - to un- loosen their unspent enthusiasm. Whidden preached in Beleview last Sunday morning and evening. A large attendance and much interest was manifested at both services. He will preach next Sunday morning at 10:30 in the little M. .E. church in Candler and again in Belle- view at 7 o'clock in the evening. Don't forget that our district super-tende- nt, Rev. R. A. Carnine, will be with us Monday night, Nov. 20.' He will preach in the M. E. church at 7 o'clock, after . which he will hold the fourth quarterly conference. This is Rev. Carnine's last round of his sixth and last year on this district. Let's give him a large attendance. We now have a thriving Epworth League in Belleview. Each Sunday night at 6 o'clock the league holds a devotional meeting at the Methodist church. The leaders of these meet- ings have never failed to give an in- teresting and instructive program. The next regular monthly business meeting of the Epworth League will be held at the parsonage the evening of Nov. 24. Members are requested to be present. We would not overlook the M. E.
