AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL BAREFOOT CHAMPIONSHIPS: Bonneys Waterski Park Western Australia 136 Albans Road, Baldivis WA. To be held on 23rd and 29th April 2017. CUPPA FOR CANCER—SAVE THE DATE: Thursday 25th May 2017, Quairading’s Biggest Morning Tea. More details to come! RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD: The Restricted Burning Period has commenced. Burning Permits are required. Please contact your Local Fire Control Officer for Permit and Burning Conditions. HACC CENTRE BASED DAY CENTRE: Held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. On the 2nd Thursday we will have an out of town outing going to various restaurants, cafes and places of interest etc museums. Sometimes just for a good shop. The 4th Thursdays will be held at the CRC with various activities, games, the odd movie day with lunch provided, give us your suggestions and ideas, we are always looking for new things to do. Anyone who has been assessed for HACC can attend on these days and we look forward to new people joining us. Those who have not attended before or regulars wanting information, please contact HACC Coordinator Phillip Nonmus or Tracey Patton at the hospital on 9645 2222. POT OUT POOL COMP: Every Wednesday 7.30pm at the Quairading Club $2 per shot to sink all 15 pool balls to win the jackpot. Must be a member of the club to play. VERGE COLLECTION: The Annual Verge Collection will not be held this Financial Year due to Council’s Works Staff Resources being allocated to Flood Event Road Repairs in the coming months. A future Verge Collection will be scheduled for the New Financial Year when Resources are available. VINTAGE CLUB CO-OP DISPLAY: If you have any memorabilia that could be used in a display for the Co-op’s 100 year anniversary, please contact any member of the Vintage Club or drop into the Vintage Club. Also any photos of any type of vehicle or farming implement that was sold by the Co-op in the last 100 years, perhaps that old Ford ute you’ve got rusting in the scrap head behind the shed! CWA SECONDHAND SHOP: The Second Hand Clothing Shop is still running on the weekends from 10.30am to 1.30pm on both days. We are still happy to receive donations or items on consignment. Lay-bys are also welcome if you see that special something.
