1. The first two pages are a reader that sequence the events of the story. Copy, cut, staple. Students can color the pages, write each item that Flip Flop uses to try to fly.

2.The colored pictures and large words can be used to create pocket chart sentences to match the reader.

3.Students can use the Flip Flop page with the thought bubbles to record his feelings and to create sentences.

4.Students can illustrate and write what they wish they could do.
