The kit consists of a switch module for push button applications (PTM 2xy),a pair of modules for industrial switches (PTM 330 and ECO 200), a temperature sensor (STM 330), a USB receiver (USB 300) plus PC software for visualization (DolphinView Basic).

STM 3xy – ideal for a variety of energy harvesting wireless sensors, such as window contacts, temperature or humidity sensorsThe sensor interface supports a variety of energy converters – a solar cell or thermoelectric DC/DC converter for instance. The new plug&play modules feature a wireless transmitter, onboard sensors or an external sensor port plus an integrated charging circuit with energy storage and an onboard antenna. Ready programmed functions enable a variety of self-powered applications with the new modules – such as window con-tacts and temperature/ humidity/ light /pressure/gas sensing.

Modular Security Concept

EnOcean offers a modular security concept to meet the power requirements of energy harvesting systems. Device manufacturers can combine rolling code and

other encryption mechanisms to suit individual needs and implement different security levels according to the requirements of the respective solutions.

DolphinView EnOcean DolphinView visualizes communi-cations between wireless nodes. Available in two variants: DolphinView Basic shows the content of EnOcean tele-grams and interprets them in relation to EnOcean equipment profiles (EEPs). Also displayed is the recep-tion quality of telegrams plus transmission statistics.

DolphinView Advanced is software for developers and adds record-ing and debugging capabilities. It can record telegrams and analyze subtelegrams, network payload, remote management and smart acknowledgement functions.
