CONCLUSION Vegetables such as cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli, and Chinese cabbage were identified as the host range of Plutella xylostella L. of Brassicaceae/Crucifera family). The parasitizing level of Diadegma semiclausum Hellen was recorded at its highest on brocolli (42.10%) and at its lowest on cauliflower (5.55%).

INTRODUCTION Diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella L. is one of the major pest species, which predate on crops, especially cabbages (Cruciferae). The pest are ussually tackled by the utilization of pesticides to keep the population below theeconomic threshold. Other alternative have also emerged as communities have increasingly considered the utilization of more ecologically sustainable pest management practices. Parasitoid is one of biological control agents that are most effective in suppressing or in controlling pest population in the field (Hawkins et al., 1997). The effectiveness of natural control in the field is influenced by the complexity of parasitoid communities in the field. The complexity of parasitoid in the field the key, which determines the parasiting level of parasitoid. Thus, it is important to understand the potential of Diadegma semiclausum Hellen as the natural enemy of Plutella xylostella L. on Cruciferae plants. .

Sampling of P. xylostella Host Plant
The survey was conducted in two districts, namely Tabanan and Badung in the province of Bali. The samples were obtained by using purposive sampling method on 100 sample plants of 3, 5, and 7 weeks of age after cultivation.

Vegetables such as cauliflower, brocolli, and Chinese cabbage were identified as the host range of Plutella xylostella L. of Brassicaceae/Cruciferae family) (Table 1.1).

Abstract
This study aims to identify the population structures and parasitizing level of Diadegma semiclausum Hellen on larvae of Plutella xylostella Linn. The survey was conducted in two districts, namely Tabanan and Badung in the province of Bali. The samples were obtained by using purposive sampling method on 100 sample plants of 3, 5, and 7 weeks of age after cultivation. Vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, and Chinese cabbage were identified as the host range of Plutella xylostella L. of Brassicaceae/Cruciferae family). The population density of Plutella xylostella L. and Diadegma semiclausum Hellen were recorded at its highest on brocolli. Population density of 16 Diadegma semiclausum was recorded in 950 m asl - 1000 m asl (Bangli and Candikuning village, Baturiti-Tabanan district ), and only 5 Diadegma semiclausum in 1017 m asl (Pelaga village, Petang- Badung district) The parasitizing level of Diadegma semiclausum Hellen was recorded at its highest on brocolli (42.10%) and at its lowest on cauliflower (5.55%).
