Next Club Meeting - Our Annual Christmas Party/Gift Exchange

Sat December 9, 11:00 a.m. Hot Cars 12875 Alcosta Blvd. San Ramon

The Prez Says . . .

Dear Members,

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was spent with friends and family and you

ate in moderation so you can still fit behind the steering wheel of your

Chevelle or El Camino!

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I want to send a shout out and thanks to all our

Club members who have been helping me with my first year as Club

President. I really want to thank our Executive team – Dave and Katie

Schurtz, Joanie Serafino, Mike & Cindy Crusco and Steve Fox. Without their

guidance and support, this job would be much harder. Dave and Katie have

been a crucial part of my presidency and I am forever thankful to have Dave

as my VP and Katie making us all look good with Merchandising and her

support. I’d be remiss (and forever sore) if I didn’t also thank Angela (my

wife) for her great efforts to create and send out the monthly Club Newsletter.

It’s not an easy job to fill and everyone can be a critic.

As all of you now know, I was elected to and accepted a 2nd year as Club

President for 2018. That basically means nobody else ran for President…. I

feel I have a better understanding and a ton of “lessons learned” behind me

now, so 2018 should be even a better year for our Club.

I’m very excited about the upcoming Club Christmas Party and potluck

luncheon we have planned for Sat, Dec 9th at My Hot Cars located at 12875

Alcosta Blvd. in San Ramon. Party starts at 11AM, so come out, bring a main

dish and a wrapped present for our annual gift exchange. Hope to see all of

you there. This will be our last Club event for 2017. I hope you enjoy some of

the pictures in this newsletter from recent Club events to remind you all of the

fun times we’ve had with our fellow Club members.

Starting in 2018, we will try to have a guest speaker for as many of our Saturday Club meetings as we can.

Beginning in January, we will have Joe Giuntini from Hagerty Classic Car Insurance giving us a “state of the

union” for Classic Car Insurance prices.

We hope to see you at a Club meeting and event soon!

Attached is a copy of the pictures that Castlewood posted in their Fall Newsletter regarding the 3rd Annual

Castlewood Country Club Classic Car Show on Aug 19th. In attendance from the club were Katie & David

Schurtz, Dave & Donnee Hankel, Mike & Cindy Crusco, Angela & Randy Ochs & family and Steve Fox.

In total, we had 42 cars show up and around 130 people. We are looking forward to making the 2018 event

New Membership /Membership Renewal Form

The Nor-Cal ChevelleCaminos Car Club is a group of Chevelle and

El Camino enthusiasts who enjoy and drive the 1964 -1972 A-body cars manufactured by General Motors, Chevrolet Division. Club members own cars that range in completion from “still in buckets” to show winners. We are, most importantly, a family oriented club that enjoys the company of its members. We take pride in providing our club members with many resources. We also know where Chevelles can be purchased and restoration parts and services are available. THIS CLUB IS FOR YOU!

Annual Club dues are $40.00, payable in June of each year. New members pay a one-time charge of $10.00 plus dues pro-rated at $3.00 per month for the remaining months until the following June.
