This detector works by detecting frequency levels througha 2 stage process; the Break Glass 2000 will pick up thehigh frequency ‘shatter‘ of the glass and then recalls theinitial low frequency flex of the glass.
The Break Glass 2000 functions with all commonglass types and sizes e.g. double glazed, tempered,wired etc and is ideally situated in a conservatoryor an area where there is a large expanse of glass.

By using thisprocess and a technology calledmicro-processor signal analysis, the detectoravoids the conventional problem of falsealarms, for example, it overcomes the highfrequency of a telephone ringing and the lowfrequency of a passing lorry.
Break Glass 2000 CoverageThe omni-directional sensor allows the detectorto be situated in a convenient location anddoes not necessarily have to be positioneddirectly opposite the glass. The Break Glass2000 provides a 8 metre detection radius,offering unrivalled acoustic detection.
