Hybrid Schedule
Benefits of the CCTEC hybrid schedule
Reduces the amount of students who are in the building at one time.
• CDC guidelines
Maximizes in-person instruction for our CTE programs (twice a week and once remotely).
Eliminates long periods of time that lack structure – students see their teachers every other day.

Remote students will have access to the same information & class materials. Hands-on activities (i.e., shops, science labs) will need to be modified accordingly.
Grading & Assessment
Primary Grades – 70%
• Assignments that are a demonstration of key skills and standards (i.e., quizzes, lab reports, DBQs, written response to discussion questions, performance tasks, student projects).
• Minimum of 1 per week
Secondary Grades – 30%
• Effort and/or completion grade that is not necessarily a demonstration of mastery (i.e., Friday participation grade, classwork grade, independent reading).
• Minimum of 1 per week • Attendance of Friday’s hangout is a mandatory secondary grade.

Attendance
• In-person attendance will be taken through Genesis
• Remote Days- a daily Google Survey will be sent to students. A social/emotional questions will be tagged to this survey. Remote students will need to complete the survey to be considered “present” for the day.
• Flexibility added to CCTEC’s attendance policy• Students displaying symptoms of COVID19 should stay home. Doctors notes
will be accepted and excused. Parent notes will be accepted and excused.
Safety Protocols
• Temperature Checks of Students and Staff
• Masks are a requirement of students and staff.• TEC will supply each student and staff member with two, washable masks.
• Hand Sanitizer will be placed in all classrooms, offices, and various locations throughout the building.
• Movement of Students & Signage• Students will be asked to move in the hallways and stairwells with their right
shoulder near wall. Signage will direct students accordingly.
Safety Protocols
• Classrooms• Students will rotate desks in classrooms. Maintenance will disinfect
classrooms during lunch period.
• Other Spaces• Media Center- closed until further notice• Fitness Center- closed until further notice• Water fountains & water refill stations closed until further notice• Gym locker-rooms closed until further notice
• Students are asked to wear sneakers and comfortable clothing on the days they have PE.
Transportation
- Bus passes and protocols are issued by the District where your student resides, usually at the end of August
- General bus information will also be posted on TEC’s webpage
Food Service @TEC
- Breakfast and Lunch options will be available for all students, each day.
- Distribution of breakfast and lunch for remote only students will take place and a schedule for the distribution days will be sent out as the new school year approaches
- Please continue to access your School Cafe accounts to add funds, check balances
- Federal Free/Reduced Lunch paperwork will also be forthcoming
