a)To ensure we supported all disabled people including BME Communities
b)To avoid any campaigning

DD initially funded by BT, Opps For Vols, Comic Relief, Scope 1st 4 years no funding from local
authority – Why?

• Avoid ‘pointless’ / ‘aimless’ meetings• Leave the CEO to get on with it!• Not to complicate decision-making with
red tape• Not to get tangled up in national
decisions• Never bite the hand that feeds you!
