CMC Bulletin Board. MARVELOUS MORAVIANS TRIP –The Marvelous Moravians will be attending the Advent and Hopewell Band Concert at Salemtowne on Tuesday, December 13, at 7 PM. A sign-up sheet is posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board if you are interested in going. CHRISTMAS CARD BOXES FOR SPECIAL FRIENDS – The boxes will be delivered during the December Christmas caroling. THE DEADLINE TO BRING CARDS IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18. Deadline to order your luminaries is Sunday, December 11. COFFEE MUGS FOR SALE – The 120th Anniversary Coffee Mugs are available for purchase in the Resource Room at the church for $3.00 each. LOVEFEAST BUN ORDERS – If you would like to order lovefeast buns for either December 20 or Christmas Eve please let Sabrina Maksi know by December 4. You may call or text her on her cell phone at 336-918-2496, email her at [email protected] or let her know on Sundays. CHRISTMAS & NOTE CARDS – Christmas cards featuring our star and church in the s now are still available for $10 per pack of 10 cards/envelopes. There are also blank notecards available with either the church in snow, the church in spring and the star in packs of 12 for $10. The cards are located in the Resource Center. All proceeds benefit the Youth. PECANS FOR SALE – The Women’s Fellowship has pecans for sale in the Resource Room. The cost is $9.50 per bag. If you are paying cash, please have the correct amount to put in the envelope or you may write a check to CMC Women’s Fellowship. PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Sponsored by West Salem Neighborhood Association and CMC Youth from 9 AM – 12 PM, Saturday, December 3, in the Fellowship Building. Please come out and support these two groups.

ADVENT EVENT – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27, AFTER WORSHIP IN THE FELLOWSHIP BUILDING. The CE Committee will provide roast beef. The congregation is asked to bring side dishes and desserts. After lunch there will be a special project for all led by Becky Lanier while you visit with one another, and the children can decorate the Christmas tree. CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, during the 11:00 AM worship in the Sanctuary. CANDLE TRIM DINNER – TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, AT 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Building. A sign-up sheet has been placed on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board for everyone who would like to attend to sign up. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, December 4. PETERSBROOK RCC – On December 13, the Petersbrook RCC will sponsor a Christmas Lovefeast at the Augsburg Lutheran overflow shelter for the homeless. We will serve a meal, sing carols, have Lovefeast, and visit with the gentlemen. The RCC will prepare gift bags for the men. Among some of the items we need for the bags are boxers and wool socks. Please help us in getting these much-needed items. A collection box has been placed in the back hallway. CHRISTMAS LOVEFEAST, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18, AT 11:00 AM – Join us for this Christmas Lovefeast during the worship service. CHRISTMAS CAROLING, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18 – For those who wish to go caroling, we will have lunch after worship in the Church Office and then go caroling. Christmas Card boxes will also be delivered during caroling. Members of the congregation are invited to go along with the youth. A sign-up sheet has been posted on the CHURCH FAMILY LIFE Bulletin Board so that we may get a headcount for lunch and for transportation arrangements. CHRISTMAS EVE LOVEFEASTS, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24 AT 4:00 PM AND 7:30 PM – The luminaries will line the walk and driveway for the 7:30 PM lovefeast on Christmas Eve.
