…about HE

•  The market will diversify

•  Competition will be global

•  3-year campus degree will not be the default

•  Costs will be scrutinised for efficiency, value and return

•  Organisational and management arrangements will change

… about students

•  There’ll be more

•  They’ll be more diverse

•  BYO will be ubiquitous

•  Employability will be essential

•  We’ll collaborate and negotiate with them

•  Their expectations (books, IT, space) will not be met

… about learning

•  The curriculum will change

•  Flipped model will predominate

•  Collaborative endeavour will be significant

•  Competence in an information-rich digital environment will be valued

…about research

•  It will be cross-disciplinary

•  Outputs (and supporting data)

will be openly available

•  Scholarly publishing model(s)

will be diverse

•  It will be here

•  It will warehouse print

•  It won’t be (isn’t?) the first place to search
