Adventures in The Sims 3: World

Adventures

The Sims 3 World Adventures is the first expansion pack to The

Sims 3, it introduces adventuring for your Sims. There are 3 new

destinations: Champ Les Sims, Shang Simla and Al Simhara.

To go on an adventure, you can call the travel agent with the

‘travel’ option. Then you can choose the location where you want

to go.

Visa

A Visa indicates a Sims progress to the adventure. Each sim starts

at a Level 0 Visa and will progress if they go again. A level 0 visa

indicated means that you can only go for a maximum of 6 days (if

you have the new lifetime reward).

Then drag on how many days you will go. You will then meet the

loading screen. When it’s finished, you’ll report to the base camp

and look at the dashboard. Select the look for adventures on the

dashboard and you’ll get an adventure, finish the adventure and

you’ll get a simoleon reward!

New Life State

The mummy is a new life state, it’s been sighted in all 3

countries but it’s mostly found in Al Simhara. The pyramids

can have a chance to spawn mummies.

When you find a mummy, a mummy will most often fight with you.

If you win, you’ll get a martial artist and an athletic skill but if you

lose, you’ll get knocked out or you’ll get hit with a mummy’s curse,

which brings me to the new death in The Sims 3.

New Death: Mummy’s Curse

If you get cursed by the Mummy, after 2 weeks, you will die. There

are many ways to cure them though.

Cures:

1. Sleep in a Blessed Sarcophagus of Kings

If you have one, sleep in it. This method will remove the curse after

sleeping in it. There is one within the Sphinx.

2. Kiss A King Cobra

Buy a Snake Charming Basket from the merchant in Al Simhara.

Then practice until you get the option to buy a cobra. Then keep

practicing until your Sim can kiss the cobra. It will remove the curse

and give your sim a positive moodlet.

3. Soul peace Statue

When you have been cursed, go to the Sphinx and gain entry.

There you will find a lot of puzzles, finish the puzzles and you’ll find

yourself to the lower level, then click on the statue and your sim

will meditate and hover. Once finished the special effect of

energy, your Sims curse will be lifted.

Stores are not rabbit holes; they are normal houses with

merchandise to sell. There are 5 different kinds of stores such as:

The nectary.

There is also a merchant that sells exclusive items for ancient coins,

the merchant sells items.
