TSBC are aiming the new platform at struggling youth. We figured out that the reason why these people are struggling is probably because they are doing something that they do not enjoy.

So we developed a concept called the “reversed job interview” where we will show not what they can do for the job market, but what the job market can do for them.

By making these youngsters interact with us, we can tailor the event to their needs, essentially making the event more interesting for them.

The Small Business Consultancy (TSBC), based in Angel, was founded in 2009 on the belief that it is possible to create a more enterprising and entrepreneurial society. Their end goal then, is a society that encourages individuals to fulfil their potential with self-employment being a viable option in a market where employment opportunities are limited and the economy needs a helping hand.

The platform is aimed at teenagers who are disengaged at school, unemployed or out of education. The aim is that Local Authorities, Academies, Youth Service Teams and Pupil Referral Units invest in the platform.

It is a platform designed to encourage self-motivation, personal development and to provide the important planning tools needed in both business situations and general day to day life.

As part of the launch campaign, we will be hosting a launch event.

Brief:Details of how you will promote the event, including how you will reach your target audience.

An outline of activities leading up to the launch event.

Objectives:1) Encourage the target audience (those in a position to buy a license) to invest in the platform2) Communicate the benefits of the platform3) Introduce TSBC and its expertise to the target audience4) Generate buzz around the platform

Target audience:Young people who are at a critical crossroads including:14-19 youth offending institutions.Unemployed 16-19 year olds (could be with TSBC on referral from ‘Ending Gang Violence’ programme, young offenders or long-term unemployed). 14-16 year olds in schools (namely those at risk of exclusion or under-achieving in mainstream schools)

Your event must:- Involve a demo of the platform with the user audience- Be an opportunity for the target audience and user audience to mix
