03IBA-JU Sports Club

The StartInstitution of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University is thepioneer of the Business Studies in Bangladesh. It was established in1991 as the Department of Business Studies. Then in 1992, it waschanged as Department of Business Administration and at last, in2009, it has transformed to Institute of Business Administration(IBA-JU).

DBS, changed as DBA later, was established its sports club in 1991 toregulate the sporting activities of the institution. The club is alsotransformed to IBA-JU Sports Club in 2009. Since then, the club hasbeen arranging different indoor and outdoor sports competition andacting as a sporting hand of IBA-JU sports team.

IBA-JU Sports Club in Recent Times

We like to inform that the major mission of IBA-JU Sports Club Topromote a sustainable sporting culture as a means of developingleadership skills of the students. And to create a sustainable sportingculture, IBA-JU Sports Club successfully organized various outdoorsporting events Like Inter Batch Football Competition, Inter BatchCricket Competition etc. and Indoor Gaming Competition. Recently IBA-JU Sports Club has arranged some football matches among differentbusiness schools.

(Cyber Gaming Wing)There is a huge craze for Cyber Games among the students of IBA-JUand Jahangirnagar University . There are so many passionate gamersin IBA-JU who are taking part in different gaming festivals and makingthe IBA-JU proud.

So, with a view to inspiring this gamers, promoting themselves ingaming world and arranging different gaming festivals to create a goodplatform for them, IBA-JU Sports Club has launched its Cyber GamingWing in 2010.The club arranged a gaming festival via this wing named CyberGamesKingship(CGK) in 2010 in the Institute of Business Administration. Theprogram had been much popular in that time among the students ofIBA-JU and Jahangirnagar University.

IBA-JU Sports Club is glad to announce the approximate schedule of its

Cyber Gaming Festival, CYBER KING, at Jahangirnagar Universityfrom July 15 to July 16, 2011. The venue of this program will be theJahir Raihan Auditorium of Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka.Cyber King is hopefully going to be the biggest cyber gamingcompetition in Bangladesh. It is our expectation that there will be almost400 gamers present in this festival. It will be the best platform for thegamers to increase their confidence and experience so that they canparticipate in different national and international gaming competition

Promotional PrioritiesThe full sponsor will get the following privileges:1. The company or organization will get all the promotional facilitiesmentioned in the promotional priorities of the Silver Sponsors.2. The company or organization will get the privilege of marketing or
