Congratulations and best of everything to the graduates in the class of 2012. You should be proud of all your accomplish- ments and achievements during your time at Squan- tum School Your class proves that Squantum is “a great place to start” and I cannot thank you enough for the incredible mark you have left on both the school and your teachers over the years. Squantum is certainly a better place because of all of you. This was a great year for your class as you all led the way on our first multicultural journey of learning and celebrating diversity in our school community. You all continued to embrace so many new technologies and curricular programs in the classroom and many of you even solved a “Mastering Math” mystery for the school as part of an exceptional performance in the school play. We are proud of all of you on so many levels for your contributions in helping to create such a positive culture and climate at the school. We have all been im- pressed each and every day this year with the level of energy and enthusiasm from which you approached your academics, your community service efforts, and the thoughtfulness you showed to your teachers and classmates during the course of the school year. You are all prepared to make the transition to middle school and hope that you will take some time these last few weeks to say thanks to your parents and teachers for supporting you along the way. The Virginia Marie

Squantum library and com-

puter lab will be open again this

summer on Wednesday’s from

July 11th to August 8th thanks to

our PTO. Students will be able

to check out books to fulfill their

QPS summer reading require-

ments and to also participate in

our annual Race to Read Pro-

gram sponsored by Rep Bruce

Ayers.

in memory of his loving wife who

worked as a lunch matron at

Squantum School for thirty years.
