The Stranger

Mr.bailey was driving home. Then he crashed into a man. Mr. bailey got him by his arm and got him into the truck.

Mr. Bailey helped the stranger inside when he got home. The stranger was wearing rough clothing. Then they asked him some questions but he did not understand. After that the baileys called the doctor and the doctor said the stranger had lost his memory.

Then they gave the stranger clean clothes. He was confused about buttons and buttonholes. Then they ate soup. When the stranger blew on the soup Ms.bailey right away said brrr there is a draft in here .

Katy watched the stranger. He walked toward 2 rabbits instead of them hopping away from him they hopped towards him. Then they hopped away and stopped and looked back at the stranger like if they wanted him to come along.

Katy sat with the stranger watching the geese make a v form. The stranger watched them. He couldn’t take his eyes of them like if he was hypnotized.

A week passed and the weather was strange. It still felt like summer when it was supposed to be fall. One day the stranger climbed the highest hill in bailey farm and saw that the trees in the north were red and orange and the trees in the bailey farm were green.

The stranger thought the green trees were ugly. Then the stranger blew on a leaf. The leaf turned orange.

The stranger was wearing his leather clothes at dinner. The stranger was crying and the baileys could tell he was ready to leave. Then he hugged all the baileys then the stranger left. The baileys hurried to wave goodbye but the stranger had already left. When he left the air turned cold and the trees were not green anymore they were yellow and the baileys said see you next fall.
