Xara Youth Ensemble will present The Bell Sisters at the Lillian Piercey Concert Hall, Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts, 6199 Chebucto Rd., Halifax, on Feb 27 at 7:30pm, a new work of choral theatre inspired by the daughters of famed inventor Alexander Graham Bell. Featuring Choral singing, movement, and spoken word and original illustrations by Halifax artist Colleen MacIsaac. Tickets are $15 adults/$10 students, and are available directly from singers, online at www.xara.ca, or at the door.

World Day of Prayer Services 2016 written by the W.D.P. Committee of Cuba “Receive Children. Receive Me”, March 4, 2 PM, (storm date March 11) at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Parish, 6903 Mumford Road. Speaker: the Rev’d Kimberlynn McNabb, Pastor, Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Halifax. A reception will follow. Evening service will be held at 7 PM at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Russell and Gottingen.
