    Blasphemy

    Acts of blasphemy are quite common. In fact, you would find this word almost always in circulation. Why so?Simply because of its meaning: expressing disrespect for God or for something sacred. Well, this is quite

    Origin of the word Engender:

    Engender, etymologically, descends from the Latin roots en (meaning to) and gener re, (meaning toproduce, also the root for generate). So basically it equates to: To generate or to produce.

    Produce what? One of the meanings ofengenderis to create or produce life, that is to procreate. And the samecan be extended to any field which involves creation of something. As soon as something comes into

    existence, it is engendered.

    MULTITUDE

    Multitude

    As we can guess easily, multitude comes from multi. The same multi- appears in a number of words, with

    the most common being multiply. That is exactly what this prefix does: it multiplies in numbers.

    Multitude refers to the state of being huge or great in numbers. It can also be used to refer to collectivepopulations, for example: India consists of vast and never ending multitudes.

    A nexus is the means of connection between things linked together. It is tie of sorts. Te drug mafia and thepolice form one such nexus. Political parties form of nexus of their cadres. This whole laying of a linkednetwork is a nexus.

    formed an extensive nexus of their cadres.
