Advisors Peleg Chevion Head of Crop Enhancement and Water Solutions at Syngenta, Basel Switzerland Mr. Chevion is a business executive and corporate/licensing attorney, with extensive experience in managing R&D and commercial transactions in the military, (bio)technology, water, and agrochemical industries worldwide. Presently Peleg is Head of Crop Enhancement and Water Solutions at Syngenta and previously the Head of Business Development Water. He is an experienced R&D and technology executive. Dr. Helge Daebel Investment Director, Emerald Ventures, Zurich Switzerland Dr. Daebel is responsible for the water sector within Emerald – defining strategy, driving investment processes and supporting portfolio companies. He has acted as an advisor and board observer to inge watertechnologies, AquaSpy, the Pressure Pipe Inspection Company and Takadu. Prior to joining Emerald, Helge conducted research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (eawag) in the Environmental Engineering Division. Carlo Galli Technical and Strategic Advisor for Water Resources at Nestlé Carlo is responsible for the adoption and improvement of sustainable water resources management practices within Nestlé Direct Operations , that includes >500 factories, and the

agricultural raw material supply Chain. He develops corporate strategy and projects aimed at minimizing the threats related to long term water availability, ensure good relationships with local stakeholders and deploy local initiatives aligned with the Nestle “Creating Shared Value” framework. Carlo’s main competences are in water resources exploration, management and protection. Carlo is Chair of the “Working Group Water & Agriculture” within the “Sustainable Agriculture Initiative” (SAI) and Member of the “International Standard Development Committee” (ISDC) within the “Alliance for Water Stewardship” (AWS).

Mark Lane Partner, Pinsent Masons One of the world’s leading experts in water and wastewater regulations and infrastructure law. Mr. Lane is a specialist in the field of infrastructure law, with over 25 years' experience in the water, roads and energy sectors. He has very extensive experience of FIDIC based projects and of projects procured on a PPP/BOT basis.

Mark has worked on many projects overseas, particularly in Africa, Hong Kong, the Middle East and the Ukraine. Mark heads up Pinsent Masons' Water Sector Group, where he specialises in water and wastewater regulatory and project assignments. He is editor of 'Pinsent Masons Water Yearbook' and is the only private practice lawyer on the UK Government's Water Sector Advisory Group. He has an MA (Hons) from Trinity College, Cambridge Solicitors Professional Examinations - College of Law.

Dr David Lloyd Owen MD Envisager, United Kingdom Dr. Lloyd Owen is Managing Director of Envisager, a strategic consultancy advising governments, multilateral institutions, financiers and companies on water and wastewater market, policy, regulatory, environmental and management, following the water sector for 23 years, previously at BNP Paribas and Ecofin Limited. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Pictet Funds Water Fund and XPV Capital’s Water Fund and is advisor to the Board of Bluewater Bio along with

being an Ambassador for Pump Aid. He read Environmental Biology at Liverpool and has a DPhil in Applied Ecology from Oxford and is a Chartered Environmentalist (MIEEM, CEnv) and Geographer (FRGS, CGeog).

David has written six books on water finance, markets and management including the ‘Pinsent Masons Water Yearbook’ (13th edition, 2011) along with a monthly column for Global Water Intelligence. ‘The sound of thirst: Why urban water for all is essential, achievable and affordable’ will be published by Parthian Books in June 2012. Specific areas of expertise include water finance, environmental regulation, the role of the private sector in service provision and corporate strategy.

William Sarni Director Deloitte Consulting LLP and enterprise water strategy leader Sarni is the author of “Corporate Water Strategies,” he is an internationally recognized thought leader on sustainability and corporate water strategies. Will has provided sustainability and environmental consulting services to both private and public sector organizations for more than three decades. Sarni’s focus is directed at developing and implementing corporate-wide sustainability strategies, as well as broad based climate and water programs.

Additionally, Sarni has managed complex projects throughout the United States, Europe and Asia, working with some of the world’s most recognizable brands. He has extensive experience in the development of water stewardship programs including: water footprinting, water risk mapping, goal setting, collaboration strategies and reporting and disclosure of water related risks and opportunities. Sarni is also both the Deloitte project leader for the 2011 CDP Water Disclosure sponsorship and the technical leader for Deloitte’s IBLF and CEO Water Mandate “Water Action Hub” project. Sarni is a member of the CDP Water Disclosure Water Advisory Council and an advisor to the University of Cambridge Natural Capital Leaders Platform project, “The right value for externalities” focused on the real value of water.

Trudi Schifter CEO TallyFox Trudi has 30 years of technology management and venture capital experience. She is the founder and CEO of TallyFox Social Technologies AG, Founder of Yew Ventures AG and a long time Advisor to Fleming Family & Partners Private Equity (London). Trudi has extensive board

projects for private investment. For over 11 years, prior to founding Water Globe Consulting, Mr. Voutchkov was a Corporate Technical Director and a Chief Technology Officer for Poseidon Resources, one of the largest private investors and developers of membrane

Mr. Voutchkov has been on the forefront of advancing applied research, technology and policy for cost-effective and environmentally safe production of fresh water from the sea. He is an active member of the WateReuse Association – Desalination Committee; the American Water Works Association – Desalination and Membrane Process Committees; the American Membrane Technology Association, and the International Desalination Association.

Peter Williams CTO, Big Green Innovations, IBM Dr. Peter Williams is the Chief Technology Officer for IBM's Big Green Innovations incubator, whose role is to create environmentally focused

businesses for IBM. He is responsible for assembling, maintaining and developing the portfolio of businesses included, and technologies used. His particular focus areas have been PV technologies; developing green house gas reduction solutions and services; and most intensively, water management solutions, covering entire water resources (for example entire rivers or aquifers), utility infrastructures, and enterprise water management. Dr Williams holds the title of IBM Distinguished Engineer. By background, he is a management consultant with well over 20 years experience of bringing technology and business issues together to develop novel solutions and business models.
