West Central Ohio Community Concert Band played at Mac-A-Cheek Castle

It was a perfect evening for the Castle Concert and Ice Cream Social held at Mac-A-Cheek Castle. The audience enjoyed fourteen musical selections by group. “The Star Spangled Banner”, “Just a Closer Walk With Thee”, “El Captain”, to name a few. “The Armed Forces Salute” was a good one because each time they named the armed service anyone who served under that branch stood up. Besides the patriotic songs my favorite was “Moon River“ which I remember singing in the high school choir.The Dairy Queen people gave out DQ gift certificates in a fun drawing and Micah Proudman helped director William Barrett pick the names.
