Introduction:

ZHCET Forum has been founded with the intention of encouraging entrepreneurial activities

and enhancing skills under the esteemed Entrepreneurial Development Cell of Zakir Husain

College of Engineering and Technology. This may help students to find their way as

entrepreneurs in their respected fields of interests. Furthermore, by promoting an

entrepreneurial spirit among the students we can help the nation grow faster and solve many

economic and social problems being faced.

ZHCET Forum consists of 4 clubs concerning 4 different areas. They are web development,

graphic designing, internet security and general quizzing. All these fields are facing great

boom in today's era and therefore provide a strong base for an entrepreneur to flourish.

ZHCET Forum is first of its kind initiative in Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and

Technology to inculcate and sharpen the ability of students to percieve and perform in the

fields other than their genre i.e. engineering. It is an excellent avenue to unwrap your talent &

discover your potentials, polish them, embellish them and be a proud beholder of many skills.

Learning: which is the elevator to take your interests to another level of skill...

Sharing: as mutual exchange of knowledge and timely discussions are the most

WEB-DESIGNING

Introduction:

Web development is more than just HTML or JavaScript; it is a combination of many

languages, software tools, and more. With these free classes and tutorials, you can learn many

of the parts of Web Development, including HTML, XML, JavaScript, Perl, and much more.

Free Web Development classes offer you the chance to learn what you need to become a

professional Web Developer.

Facts:

There are approximately 970 millions Internet users, 15% of the world‘s population.

In January of 1994 there were a total of about 700 websites on the Internet. As of

November 2006, there were over 100,000,000 websites online, and the trend

continues

4 websites are launched every second. But still 95% people don‘t know even how to

build a simple website.

Did you know that your unique experience and knowledge can turn into profits on the

Internet?

Professional website:

A website is no longer a luxury but a necessity which makes strong impact on the

image of any organization.

It is international. If you have a website, then you have something international that

overcomes the limits between countries and continents

You may already own a business and would like to transfer it to the Web or add an

extra value to your company.

Build a site around your favourite hobby.

Let others in the world know your expertise and knowledge about how to do it better.

You can include pictures, demonstrations, and detailed instructions.

Objective:

To promote web designing culture in the students of ZHCET and to create a single platform

for the prospect, budding and professional web designers of the college. Web designing club

will act as a launch pad for the entire web designing related activities in the college.

Introduction: What is Graphic designing

Suppose you want to announce or sell something, amuse or persuade someone, explain a

complicated system or demonstrate a process. In other words, you have a message you want

to communicate. How do you ‗send‘ it? You could tell people one by one or broadcast by

radio or loudspeaker. That's verbal communication. But if you use any visual medium at all -

if you make a poster, type a letter, create a business logo, a magazine ad, or an album cover,

even make a computer printout - you are using a form of visual

communication called graphic design.

Graphic design is a part of your daily life. From humble things like gum wrappers to huge

things like billboards to the T-shirt you're wearing, graphic design informs, persuades,

organizes, stimulates, locates, identifies, attracts attention and provides pleasure.

Graphic design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas.

The designer works with a variety of communication tools in order to convey a message from

a client to a particular audience.

Graphic design is not just the difference between beautiful and boring. It is the difference

between customers choosing a company and choosing its competitors.A powerful tool for

business, graphic design is an investment – not only in looking good, but in the success of

your business.

Objective:

To promote Graphic designing culture in the students of ZHCET and to create a single

platform for the prospect, budding and professional designers of the college. DEZINERZ

CLUB will act as a launch pad for all the designing related activities in the college.

An interview will be conducted so as to check the minimum basic designing skills and

awareness.

QUIZZING CLUB

Introduction:

It is seen that interest in quiz usually grows through quiz clubs. In

order to supplement quiz activities in the college, ZHCET forum comes

up with Quizzerz Club. In addition to regular quizzes by the

coordinators, students are also invited to try their hand at being

quizmasters and conduct quizzes on a topic of their choice.

Cumulative points will be awarded to each individual on their

performance which will form the basis of awards at the end of

semester. In short, there is much more to win besides glory...

Objective:

To provide an active platform for quiz enthusiastic students of ZHCET.

It will focus on promoting quiz activities and encouraging

intelligence.

INTERNET SECURITY

After the boom in Networking and Software jobs, the past two years have seen a sharp rise in

the field of Information Security. Information Security and Ethical hacking is the latest

buzzword in the industry. In the past five years, the percentage of hacking crimes, data thefts,

data losses, viruses and other cyber crimes have increased exponentially. With information

security increasingly becoming a boardroom level concern, training and certification are

becoming increasingly important for candidates and companies.

Ethical hacking — also known as penetration testing or white-hat hacking — involves the

same tools, tricks, and techniques that hackers use. But the difference is: Ethical hacking is

legal. It is performed with the target‘s permission. Its intent is to discover vulnerabilities from

a hacker‘s viewpoint so the systems can be better secured.

Actually, hackers are computer geeks who know almost everything about computers (both

hardware and software) and are widely respected for their wide array of knowledge.

Objective:

The main objective of the program is to spread awareness about computer and security of

personal information among people so as to make computer users aware of all the threats

which are prevailing in the Digital World. Live Demonstrations would be given of the

common attacks in the Computer world, which Hackers use to extract your Data, Passwords

and Money, attacks including System Attacks, Network Attacks, Email Id Hacking, Software

Key Cracking, and much more.
