Our class had a Ferrari 430 visit. The owner of the car David Barber even gave us an interview .Here are some of the facts we found out:

It can go at 196 mph . It cost £200,000. There are only two or three black Ferraris in Ireland. The tyres cost £150 EACH.

Research Race Day

To help with research we all brought in our remote control cars raced them and then looked at the speed ,size and shape of them to help with design.

Research On

Aerodynamics

We learned about the four principles of aerodynamics and searched some pictures to help explain in greater detail.

There are four principles of aerodynamics these are :

Lift Weight Drag Thrust

Research pictures

These pictures shows how the air flows off F1 cars.

Car Designing

We designed our own cars and voted for the best ones. But we had to chose just one so ………

Page 14: The

Why We Chose The Car

We chose our final car by looking at all the fastest cars in the world and drew a combination some of them.

Why We Chose The Car

This one is our final car and it was designed and made by Rhys our graphic designer.
