THEMISSION:

The mission of the All In Student

Ambassador Program is to increase

the college-going culture at

Brownsville high schools and to assist

students in the college preparation

process, to increase the number of

students enrolled in post-secondary

education leading to a living-wage

job. Having recently gone through

the early stages of education, current

college students possess a wealth of

knowledge, a fresh perspective and the

energy necessary to support, motivate

and guide aspiring students.

QUALIFICATIONS:• Must be a former BISD student

• Must be registered in the current semester

• Must be a student in good standing (may not be on academic or disciplinary probation status)

• Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and maintain satisfactory academic progress

WHO ARE THE STUDENT AMBASSADORS AND WHAT DO THEY DO?The student ambassadors are active community members and involved citizens making a difference in Brownsville by sharing their time, individual experiences and unique perspectives. They conduct college talks and presentations to help young students struggling to find their way to a postsecondary education.
