With a combination of melting waxes and thermoplastic binding substances, as well as optimal thermal properties, this product completes the existing range. Its wide range of uses makes this product interesting. The foil can be supplied both without a support, or optionally on various base supports. The product is manufactured continuously as rolled goods.

Growing demand for highly thermally conductive, silicon-free Softtherm® products led to the development of the Ac 500 foil type. This foil, which can be supplied in thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm, is characterised by good compressibility and excellent thermal conductivity. The foil can be supplied as a sheet measuring 450 x 250 mm, or cut to size up to the maximum sheet size.

The focus of this new thermal conduction paste was a very high thermal conductivity, along with a good long-term stability and excellent processability. This paste containing silicon can be used in particular in the area of small surfaces for high-performance appli-cations in the field of LED and performance chips. The paste can be supplied in syringes, cartridges or cans and hobbocks.

New tasks in the field of mass casting for automotive applications drove the development of these cost-optimised casting compounds that are easy to process. This room tem-perature cross-linking casting compound with good thermal conductivity and very good insulation strength can be processed optimally through various dispensation systems, filter printing or stencil printing.

All the new products presented are available as from now for sampling. The detailed data sheets can be found in the new catalogue or the individual data sheets on the homepage.

Originally developed as a thin electrolyte for solid oxide fuel cells, those substrates are excellently suited for electronics applications as well. Their low thickness, high planarity and good flexibility make them a perfect choice for thin film processes or curved fittings.
