  • Apply base lines having a thickness of 0.079 to 0.120 inches, exclusive of the transverse audible bars, when measured above the pavement surface at the edge of the base line. The profiled baseline shall have a minimum height of 0.155 inches, when measured above the pavement surface at the edge of the inverted rib profile. The thickness in the bottom of the profile marking shall be 0.035 to 0.050 inches. The individual profiles shall be located transversely across the full width of the traffic stripe. Device can be used to measure this type of line.
