Developing ideas in a mind map

Choose 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 different themes about the title “Environments” which you could explore in your project.

For each theme, add at least 3 notes about how you could develop this idea in different ways and which media you could use.

E.G.● Climate change / humans changing the environment- Extinct species - sculptures of animals which are now extinct or

endangered like dodo and panda- Destroying rainforests - row of clay models of trees, gradually

getting smaller like they’re being chopped down.- Ice caps melting - make the hollow shell of icecaps out of wire,

showing the space inside where the ice has melted away.

Generating Initial Ideas….

… What would it look like if 2 of your chosen artists’ work had a baby?!

… In your annotation, how did you say each artist could influence your project?

… If one of your visual responses worked really well, how could you use a similar idea, but combine it with another artist?

… Which 3D materials have been successful for you?

… What is your favourite aspect of each artist’s work?
