Being W.E.L.L.

A Note from Johnny… Christmas is “for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son...” Why did He give His only Son? Because the world was lost and dark and the Light of the world was the only way to free man from the darkness of sin and bring us to the light of God.

Last Sunday was a day of incredible Light. I don’t know of a better Christmas message to share than the one we heard and witnessed as we took a journey on the mission of reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you missed this powerful service, I urge you to pick up a copy of the DVD as it is made available.

May we never forget the mission of FBC is to reach a world for Christ, starting from downtown Dothan.

The “Day of Grace” was a great outpouring of the love of Jesus to the world around us. It was a day of taking our mission hearts and putting them intopractice. I want to thank all the people who helped make this day a “Day of Grace” for others.

I can’t leave out the Children’s Music Program. What would Christmas be without the sound of children? Thank you children, for sharing with us the story of our Lord. A very special thanks to the music leaders for the work that you do with our children.

Remember this Sunday evening, Babbie Mason will be sharing with us during our Evening Worship Service. Invite a friend to come with you.

I will see you Sunday!
