In order to increase the quality of water, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) of Rajasthan Government has set up multiple water treatment plants. PHED has adopted water conservation measures ensuring safe water for household needs. Auma India is now part of water supply projects across water treatment plants of PHED.

The centralized control system of Auma India Master Station(AIMS) controls and monitors the actuators located at the field using the field bus protocol. The AIMS control system allows seamless integration of Auma actuators, as well as actuators of other make into various host system solutions as well it can act as a standalone control. Recently, Auma India commissioned Master Station at HPCl Mangalore terminal for the centralized control of field actuators at Mangalore terminal. The AIMS is now controlling the operation of 68 actuators of which 38 are Auma actuators and 30 Rotark actuators.

NTPC- Ramagundam is the largest thermal power station in South India with a total installed capacity of 2600MW. Auma India has been selected to provide actuators and Gearbox for the NTPC -Ramagundam expansion project.

Auma India to supply to Rajasthan Water Supply Board

Auma India actuators at the Largest Thermal power station of South India Dholera town in Gujarat is the biggest of the eight industrial smart cities to be developed in India. Dholera will have an underground sensor system control for all infrastructure facilities like water, power, gas & traffic. As part of the plan, two 5 MLD Sewage treatment plants are being constructed in the first phase. The recycled water from sewage plants can be used for several applications which will help reduce the load of demand for potable water. Auma India actuators have been chosen to be part of the sewage treatment plant of Dholera for the supply of weather-proof actuators with MODBUS communication protocol.

Auma India is proud to be a part of Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system of NTPC for 2x490 MW National Capital Power Station (NCPS) at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh. Auma has supplied locally manufactured two high torque actuators and four gearboxes to NTPC on a priority basis.

Upgradation of Bevel Gearbox to meet higher thrust

Auma India is continually developing and modifying its products to provide optimal solutions to its customers. The products offered are customizable to meet the varying requirements of the customers. Presently Auma India offers bevel gearbox GK 40.1 for the maximum torque requirement up to 16000Nm and maximum thrust requirement up to 1375kN. Considering the demand for higher thrust output with the same torque, Auma India has developed a special output for GK40.1 bevel gearbox with thrust withstanding capacity of up to 2200kN and supplied to customers.

Due to the urgent requirements of the products, Auma has supplied and commissioned actuators within two months of getting the go-ahead. Auma India has commissioned two gearboxes coupled with high torque actuator SA30.1 with double shaft linking rod to operate the full opening and full closing of bypass gate with less operating time. This is the first FGD project commissioned with Auma India products. Subsequently, Auma India is also supplying 16 non-intrusive SIL 2 qualified actuators for the FGD project.

for Digital LabAUMA India supports Shanti Bhavan

In recent CSR activities, AUMA India provided funds to Shanti Bhavan Education Trust that operates a residential School providing free education to underprivileged children. The main aim of Shanti Bhavan is to break the cycle of poverty by creating responsible and well-educated adults who are able to extricate their extended family from abject poverty. With the support of this facility, many students could successfully graduate and provide a better life for them as well as their families.

AUMA is supporting Shanti Bhavan for the last four years. Recently, AUMA has equipped the computer lab of Shanti Bhavan which was officially inaugurated by CEO Dr. Jörg Hoffmann along with Managing Director Arvind K. Goel, on14th March 2019. To express gratitude to Auma India, Shanti Bhavan decided to name their computer lab in honor of Mr. Matthias Dinse, Ex-Chairman of Auma India. The accessibility to the computer lab provides new opportunities for children of Shanti Bhavan.

Auma India continues its efforts to improve the quality of life by supporting various NGOs in their cause. Auma supports a wide range of CSR activities that encompass education, old age homes, medical treatment of poor, etc.

Auma India observed National Safety week from the 4th of March in the company to highlight the importance of safety and create awareness to prevent mishaps and accidents. On account of National Safety Day, a Safety Quiz was conducted, and prizes were distributed for the employees who participated in the quiz.

3 - day In-house Customer Service Training program, was organized by Auma India from 25th to 27th April 2019, which was attended by the delegates from the various End -users, Valve makers & EPC’s viz, Premium Transmission Pvt Ltd, Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd, Delval Flow Controls Pvt Ltd, Mahindra Water Utilities Ltd, Forbes Marshall Arca Pvt Ltd, Kirloskar Brothers Ltd,JSW Steel Ltd. The training program was aimed at imparting the theoretical know-how along with hands-on training on Auma Products.
