Show Up!

The most important factor in goal attainment is whether we decide to show up. Deciding to show up is a choice.

Creativity and innovation are a mindset. How we are conditioned to think is the deciding factor.13Think Differently @KevinCSnyder How can you think differently about that challenge?

Could it really be an opportunity?

Innovation is like skydiving. Once you jump outside your comfort zone, you want to do it again.

Innovators know that success is a result of persistence through the squiggly lines. Innovation comes when you least expect.

What is passion? How do we definite it and why is it important?How do we foster a passionate workforce culture?Is money a motivator? (Center for Talent Innovation found that money was NOT a major motivator among college students; rather, choosing when/where they work was important (take-a-way: look beyond money; its the little things)21

They break traditional rules.

Quiet your mind.

Meditate. Relax. Reflect. Creativity will flow.Perception~ Grow your comfort zone.~ Develop a constructive view of failure.~ Break some rules.~ Uncrowd your mind.

Brief storyline of the FISH! philosophy whereby examples of workforce culture, engagement, and productivity (i.e. results) were all impacted. Overall point: if we can achieve this by selling DEAD FISH, then most certainly we can do it with people.28

@KevinCSnyder

When you become the best company to work for, recruitment, retention, engagement and performance/productivity are all positively impacted; therefore, have a goal to have that culture. Foster an intentional culture whereby employees are excited to come to work each day.

Examples to be discussed: Coyne College, 34Its not about the fish. Its about the employee and customer experience. Empower your employees to innovate. Ask & listen to your customers.

Anything is possible when you have a vision.

At 12 years old, my vision was to meet Bob Barker.

Your vision is what makes you unique. If no one has ever said your vision, or dream, is too big or crazy, then its not big enough!People~ People watch.~ Collaborate with other departments.~ Socialize outside your normal circle.~ Vision makes anything possible

You cannot think your way to success. Next are some examples of how to identify your process .

Youll be more successful in less time when you have a PROCESS. @KevinCSnyder What is passion? You have 5 minutes to come up with at least 30 ways to use a paperclipA paperclip can teach us quite a bit about how to think differently.Process~ Strategy is imperative.~ Ideation Stations~ Whiteboard~ Worst Idea~ Journal
