Thirty third Sunday in Ordinary time - November 17, 2019

Dear Parish Family: Today we will hear of horrifying signs that may portend the end of the world: earthquakes and famines, wars and persecutions. Even though these warnings were given two thousand years ago or more

and the world has not yet ended, they can still spur us to action now. As we celebrate Mass today, let us look at our lives and consider what we should change and then resolve to do so now.

TIME TO REMEMBER: The month of November is traditionally a time to remember those loved ones who have “fallen asleep in the hope of rising again”. We invite you to bring framed picture (s) of your deceased relatives and friends to Mass and place them in front of the Altars of St. John Vianney and St. Thomas the Apostle to stay there during this

month of remembrance. Please note any size picture will do as long as it is

NO LARGER THAN 5”X 7”.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Do I continue to meet my responsibilities even during difficult times?

How can I bring myself to hope for healing justice in the midst of terrible events?
