Weld new primary GM To old primary GM 6" from theexisting extrusion weld. There may be someexceptions to this exact weld location to bediscussed with Engineer in the field.

Utilize existing anchor bolts, allowing that up to 50 new bolts will have to be drilled and epoxy set . Re-use existingbatten bar. All other pieces of batten (nuts, washers, neoprene gasket) connection new as shown in originaldesign. Clean existing bolt threads with wire brush and apply anti-sieze to all bolt thread before installing nuts

New primary geomembrane shall wrap over the top of the 18" SLCRSriser pipe. Fill the gap between the pipe haunches and thegeomembrane with pre-cut Ethafoam pieces. In the zone around wherethe 18" pipe penetrates the anchor wall, use a batten-bar-and-gasketassembly to attach the new geomembrane to the anchor wall verticalface. The geomembrane attachment will have to transition from beingan extrusion welded connection to the embedment strip, to the battenbar, and back to the extrusion welded connection to the embedmentstrip. The batten bar should be 1/4" x 2" SS with oblong holes at 6" o.c.to accept epoxy-set 3/8" dia anchor bolts set a min. 3" into concrete.Where the batten bar crosses an extrusion weld the weld shall beground smooth.

Disconnect stormwater discharge hose at this point. Remove stormwater hose, electrical cord, and pump assembly from existingfloating cover, and remove steel discharge piping as necessary to allow new floating cover installtion. Replace after new floatingcover is installed.
