Threshold Tables Apply thresholds to a handful of physics signals,

determine how many events pass single, double object triggers For now, thresholds for double triggers defined as half of the

single object threshold Current trigger configurations are tuned so that ZEE and HTT

samples provided similar turn-on curves for isoEG and isoTau cases, respectively

Upgrade Study Definitions

Single Eff = (# events with > 1 L1 object above threshold+matched to ‘good’ GEN object)(# events with > 1 ‘good’ GEN object)

Double Eff = (# events with > 2 L1 object above threshold/2+matched to ‘good’ GEN object)(# events with > 2 ‘good’ GEN objects)

Cross Eff =

(# events with > 1 L1 isoEG and > L1 isoTau above thresholds/2+matched to good GEN object)

(# events with > 1 ‘good’ tau and > 1 ‘good’ EG object)

A ‘good’ GEN object has pT above the relevant 80% efficiency point for isoEG (75% for isoTau), |η| < 2.5, and has the desired parent

The displayed efficiencies are the OR of the isoEG and isoTau cases. i.e.

Single Object Eff = (# events passing single isoEG || single isoTau requirements)

(# events with good GEN EG || good Tau)
